    That works if you include the Manager/Staff in the Jan Sales and there lies the problem. I find it hard to believe that PL/Board had not made up their mind about Ronny in Jan. So not to do anything in Jan because it was "the decent thing to do", has meant that nothing got done until newbhoy and staff came in - Manager wants his own players etc. Lack of forward planning by PL & Board has got us into this situation.

    Of course its a problem when changing managers but i was talking in general rather than just now.
    Every summer we * about trying to squeeze some player in before the CL game come round...and every summer for the most part its a farce.

    The point is though that we are potentially going into this next round with only one CB who you'd be happy with. Erik. They have repeatedly said we are trying our best, aye, but that phrase rings a bell.

    If it comes back and bites us on the * then it wouldn't be a surprise. Even taking the defence out of it, we still need a left winger and a greater threat going forward.

    As purely an outsider looking in, it seems to be deja vu. Holding out to see if we can qualify spending as little money as possible. We need to learn to speculate a little in order to accumulate. It would make this qualifying process a whole lot easier.

    Anyway, hoping that we get someone in for this 1st leg. Think it'll be Toure.

    2 competitive games?? A think your misunderstood there pal we have seen this playing squad for the last 2 years and we need quality additions added, am 32 and this is by far the weakest squad a can remember we have 2 central defenders and 1 is useless and the same goes for the striking department , a have never seen us with only 2 strikers, well there is cifti as well but he's already shown he won't make it here as well !

    The same players with the exception of dembele got beat 1-0 off part timers and didn't win 1 game in the Europa league last year not to mention malmo Maribor and the complete humping off an average legia squad, that's the squad the manager has to work with, or did you forget about the last 2 years and think Rogers would have came in a waved a magic wand??? This squad needs help any idiot can see that !!

    Am expressing concern at the lack of funds the new manager has been giving, what's up with that?? Am delighted we have Brendan Rodgers in, a just thought after getting beat off rangers in the cup we would a went out and spent a bit of money and brought in a few decent players that are needed anyone who can't see that must be a complete idiot.
