Anyone else * off at the fans at home games that tell you to sit down, maybe be quiet, and generally be depressing *? I know they can enjoy the game however they like, but if they're not going to contribute to the atmosphere, why bother going to the game in the first place when you can watch it on TV without having to sit in the rain and wind? I sit in the JS Stand, and the atmosphere is dead there now to be honest, a few years back it was one of the loudest parts of the stadium!

Only time you should get told to sit down is if you're doing it the whole game. * me off when people stand up in front of you and always keep standing up. We've all paid to watch a match, no the guy in front of yours *.
But people constantly slating the team * me off more.
I sit in the SW corner myself and it is dead. Sometimes get the odd burst of song, but still if people pay their season ticket they are not olbiged to sing at the game. I don't sing that much, I like to just watch the game. Do I complain about singing? No chance. I love to hear it, gives me goosebumps.
Not everyone that doesn't sing is a stuck up part-time supporter.Last edited by a moderator: Dec 1, 2011 -

But I love to listen to the fans roaring some Celtic classics. Not many things better than that. Would love it to go back to the days where the whole crowd would sing. -

The fans that * me off are the ones that complain all the time, all the * time. Abuse our players if they make the slightest mistakes and how quickly some of our supporters are on our players back, it must make them nervous as *. Why on earth do these people attend?
There are some people that used to have a passion for Celtic and are now only attending because it's become habit over the years. These are the guys that show no willingness to actually support the players on the pitch. Seriously, you'll get a cheer out of them if you're lucky.
I bet everyone has sat beside a supporter like this at least once.
Support the team or at least try and enjoy yourself. Otherwise, why even bother? -

I dont like it when people stand but dont sing, so they just get in your way. If you're going to stand then sing, if you're not, then sit down.

I don't agree with it either, in fact I would have safe standing as soon as possible. It works elsewhere and there's no reason it can't work here. Yes, there was tragic events in the UK but we've surely learned from that and as sad as it is, we should be moving on now.
Shame it's unlikely because standing increases the enjoyment massively at the football.Last edited by a moderator: Dec 1, 2011 -

Lack of singing through out and frequent standing has a terrible impact on the kids, who are Celtic's future support.
Obvious point first, when someone is standing all the time, or even just when they get a tinge of excitement - the kids can see * all.
Second, I overheard a kid asking his old man if they could sit with the Green Brigade so that he could sing. I can understand why the kid might think like this and it's not a good impression.
I'm fed up looking like a nutter singing solo. -
love my seat at celtic park it is the perfect seat except the fans in this stand think they are watching the tv and you feel like an odd man out if you were to sing along

Celtic and other clubs really need to offer section. Like tick this box if you want to sit and talk about the game with your mate. Tick here to sing.
You know what I mean. -
I find that a lot of the older guys just sit there in a huff the whole game. Not all of them, but a fair number. No clapping, no singing, no anything. What's the point?

- Broony!
Been saying this for ages.
Sick of the negativity that seems to have spread through our support in recent weeks.
Hopefully our good run will continue and it will subside.
Perhaps a title win will shut these people up!
Either way people need to remember that they are Celtic supporters, not Celtic moaners!
Hail Hail -
