    Like I said mate, I hate being too critical about Celtic, but I was just stating the facts. I'm not saying that he would instantly become a key player for us (Samaras, Commons and Forrest are all much better than him at the same job, in my opinion), but he could end up coming in handy if we were to suffer a spate of injuries at some point, not to mention the fact we'd be getting him for free.

    This is all purely hypothetical anyway, as I don't realistically see us signing any of the smelly Hun * :50:

    Those saying McShagger have been reading too many tabloids whilst the football is on. He was * last season and made a catalogue of comedy errors. We can do better than him.

    The 1 and only player I would take is Bocanegra, because he would be a good addition to the centre of our defence and exactly what we need. Experience, discipline and leadership.

    One positive thing to come out of this thread is that it at least, yet again, highlights the difference in class between our supporters and the Newco followers. It says a lot that some people in here would actually consider signing one of their players, because with Celtic, it is "not the creed nor nationality that counts, but the man himself". Wise words from one of our greatest ever servants.

    Imagine, for a second, them over at SevcoMedia discussing the possibility of signing Joe Ledley :56:

    I should have added that I didn't think he would become a regular first teamer, I just think he's a really good midfielder which is why I wouldn't mind having him.

    I would take Naismith, Davis, or McGregor.

    Because they would be free they dont have to be brilliant. Im sure they would have some resale value as well if it didnt work out. I couldnt really care less who they played for in the past as long as they gave 100% when they played for us.
