Should we have our own bus??

We're a big club without our own bus

 

Slightly surprised they do it for free.

Then again, their small level of advertising at the club is probably free to them as well. Small mutual agreement between club and company.

 

Really struggle to give a * about what bus we use.

Things must be going well if this is one of the concerns our support has.

 

Shouldn't be associated in any way with those hun *.
Either get our own bus or get a contract with someone else.

We could use a Tacsi or an Ambiwlans.

 

Two customised buses with the Celtic FC livery paid for by a sponsor..

Would be a wee touch of Class.. not a major issue tho..

But I remember someone posting pictures of the PSG bus on its way to Celtic Park with all the kit, arriving ahead of the team.., there's only so much kit you can take on a plane.

If BR wants it * get it tho. If it's not an issue for him then I'm no bothered.

I would imagine any bus/car/fleet rental by a large business, for work purposes, would be tax deductible.

Buying a coach would also be, but mechanical issues, servicing etc probably wouldn't.

Truth be told, I don't give a *.

 

Would like to see us own our own, but a free bus against the cost of a new bus,insurance ,signage ,driver wages, fuel, ect is a no brainer

If we are going to have our own hotel / museum etc then i see no reason we cannot have our own bus. It would make sense in case we have VIP's etc.

The main thing is, does Brendan want one? if so, then 100% it will happen.

 

Not majorly bothered in all honesty but ideally I'd like to see us have our own customised team bus. More and more the game is becoming about image and stature especially in Europe. This is definitely something which a long time ago would have been so trivial, in today's world though it would help enhance that image and our status as one of the biggest football clubs there is.

 

I think you need one as back up.

 

The owner of Parks is on the Rangers board and has recently loaned them money

 

If we are getting the use of buses for free then its hard to see why we should change.

However as a club trying to go forward on and off the pitch a bus decked out in club colours etc is not a bad idea.

Its not going to change much overall but it does contribute towards the image of the club as a professionally run club with no stone left unturned in our efforts to be a top club.

As some have said its not a big issue and may feel its a waste,but i would say a lot of the costs would be covered by companies looking to get involved just to be associated with the club.

 

We were a big club without Lennoxtown either but it’s about growing, it’s about representing ourselves as the elite do. Small things matter.

 

Well, he won’t be getting that back.

 

Don't think having our own bus would really improve our game on the field. From a business point of view I suppose it's good publicity for the brand. Could at least stick a scarf out the drivers window.

 

If we could have two coaches custom fitted with bespoke specialist equipment geared to giving our players the best preparation for matches and facilitate post match recovery and relaxation, then surely it would be an asset.

I'm sure our kit sponsor would be happy to contribute and their brand advertised on the coaches.
