Seen a few on here saying he isn't good enough for us, just wondering what the general opinion is.

I don't think he should go but he needs to be benched for a bit.
-
personally I don't think he should go just yet, but bench him and give others a chance since he hasn't been performing lately
-
Although he does need to get his finger out
Practically has a laid back mindset now, just like about 90% of the team. -

No,I have a feeling he will be punted in the summer though..
I would certainly keep him as a squad player, certainly not the main man up top though,we need something more..
Definitely worth keeping and still offers much in a Celtic jersey! -
He's definitely not playing as well as he can, that's for sure.
I'd like to see how he got on with Griffiths alongside him for a few games. If still no improvement then I'd bench him for a spell. -
He's not been at his best recently. You have to look at the reasons why, he's been playing up front on his own, or with Pukki. Stokes is more of a second striker and struggles to form a partnership with such a similar player.
You only have to look at his partnership with Hooper to see that he will thrive when he plays alongside a decent goal scoring striker.
The Pukki and Stokes partnership hasn't worked. It will be interesting to see if he can form a partnership with Griffiths or Balde. -

Could see him and Griffiths working out a treat. Needs a player with intelligence and good movement in and around the box up there with him, hence the deadly partnership with Hooper. Hopefully he and Griffiths can emulate that partnership.

Aye this
And drop commons in behind them. -
Here for a good while, in my opinion. Loves the club and is very productive...see no reason for him to leave.
-
He gets goals so no,but he is due some bench time beside sammy.

I like him as a player. I'm not truly judging anyone in the spl just now. 1 more season for me and he needs a goal in Europe

If he doesn't start banging them in by summer then yes. Doesn't play well at all as a lone striker and his linking up play isn't consistently good enough for me either. But when he's on form (form which we haven't really seen in abundance this season) he's a great player. Hopefully w can start scoring some goals soon.
-
I have always liked him and he's been a great player but he's not been playing well for a few weeks and could do with being dropped for a bit but it doesn't seem to be happening. I'm sure he'll regain full form soon:50:

Yes, this should have been his last season and he should never have been given a new contract as now we're stuck with him for years to come and this was our chance to get rid of him.
I'm not interested in hearing about partner-ships with Griffiths. I would like to see a Balde & Griffiths partner-ship for a few games together and see how they perform.
Then next season the strikers should be Watt, Griffiths and Balde with hopefully a new addition from St Johnstone. These 4 should be getting rotated in different partnerships to see what works best next season. Meaning no space for Stokes who should leave, I doubt the guy would even get a championship club in England, League 1 probably calling him with his next move. -
I don't think he can lead the line but perhaps up with Griffiths will bring his best out like his great spell with Hooper.
-
I would have said no at the start of the season but I'm not fussed if he leaves now, he has done well for us but I think his time is up, we have other options who need game time and I would still try and sign someone else in the summer.
