I am genuinely gutted by last night, I have never seen Celtic let themselves down like that.

I rarely get stuck into the team but, I am actually angry about last night. I can't understand his line-up, his formation and his tactics.

Mowbray has to carry the can for the above but the players were * poor and should be ashamed of their individual performances.

Lets just hope that it's the boot up the * that is required and we learn from that and we go on to qualify.

I am disgusted by what I sat and watched last night.

    1) Why play 4-5-1 against a team as poor as hapoel
    2) Why drop McDonald
    3) Why play rent a gob in midfield when hes hardly excelling in his preferred position
    4) Just * were you thinking TONY!?!?!?!?!?! :47:

I dont want to hear Tony's excuses about the * heat. That wasnt the problem it was his tactics simple.

I believe if we have went with 4-4-2 we would of been 2 or 3 up at half time that mob were so bad!

    Celtic have been embarassed badly!!!

to be fair if we're playing one up front i wouldn't have mcdonald. in saying that why the * were we playing one up? fair enough in the nou camp or something but they were there for the taking and we just didn't go for it. i thought the first half we didn't play too badly and overall i'd probably give n'guemo and samaras pass marks. 2nd half though was the worst celtic performance i can remember. utterly shambolic and an absolute disgrace.

That was awful to watch, a total *. Remember when we used to give a good account of ourselves in Europe? There was * all desire, no passion, no drive and the * tactics.

Trying to play anti football and can't even do it as well as the Huns.
    Major rethink required.

Everyone's moaning about the one up front, but with all the defenders on, how did we lose two goals?
They should have to run back to Scotland

i was at my sons under9 q/fs last night and what i seen of celtic in the 2nd half my sons match was light years ahead of them ,,i am not ben funny here its true, they defended well ,passed well and got forward when they cud,,they got beat 3.2 but they put up a great show, and were appaludded off the field by the other sides watching support, now what i am saying here is if celtic put up a show like the under9s and still got beat,we cud understand a bit. but they did f,,,k all, time to let a couple players go and go now, playing for celtic anit easy ,but if you give your best, you will get all the support you need ,but if you play like last night ,well.......... slan anios mo charra.

Couldnt agree more. When the camera shot to the fans at the end thats the first thing I said. Celtic should be refunding every fan that travelled after a display like that. Where has the passion gone from the team and the willingness to win.

it seems to be more our passing i think.

playing 4-5-1 is ridiculous if your team cant even string passes together. half our teams first touchs are *. wether thats just the other player hitting the ball far too hard ( which i thought it was alot of the time ) i dont know. but in a 4/5 man midfield, the passing should be easy, espiecally against a team like hapoel.

and on to the next point, losing 2 goals when there are 4/5 men in defence? tony mowbray is a defender, so what the * is he exactly playing at here?

i said to my dad when i seen the lineups "uh oh.. why are we playing that? if theres anybody that should be playing behind the midfield, it should be nguemo" , to which my dad responded "he probably thinks nguemo is the more creative midfielder"

i think most of us just dont know what to say to this!! after being a goal up, celtic AGAIN failed to bury the game, instead just sat back, and hapoel cut through us like a * hot knife through butter

celtic deserved to lose, and to be honest il be happy with 4th in europa group, and 2nd with someone close behind in 3rd in the spl.
if celtic are going to play like that again against unknown teams, then im sorry, but i dont see much hope for us.

Wheres the attacking football TM promised, i can understand 451 against good opposition , but hapoel are far from good opposition, we should have played 2 up and taken the game to them and would have comfortably won, i have been a supporter for 20yrs and last night was the first time i was embarased to be one, as for the players no heart, no guts boruc played ok but the rest should refund the travelling fans from their own pocket. DISGRACE

the signs have been there for a while that this team is just "pish". last year we were hopeless in the champions league against the likes of aalborg. we lost to a * poor huns team. this season we didnt even come close to competing against arsenal even standard liege gave them a right good game. the fact is, our so called important players are some of the worst performers in the team. I highlight scott brown and gary caldwell who are just dreadful footballers.just awful.

A friend of mine has written and posted a letter to Mowbray asking the team to donate this week's wages to charity after that.

We need to face it now, this team are no way near to competing in Europe, it's becoming doubtful whether they can actually even compete successfully in Scotland.

It's time for Dermot Desmond to either sell up or invest some serious money in this team, we need three no-nonsense defenders that can actually defend.

If he won't invest then we need to sell Brown and Mc Geady to allow Tony Mowbray funds to rebuild the shambles, however Dermot if this happens watch the spaces in the Celtic Park stands becoming larger by the week.

GET RID OF BROWN...HE HOLDS US BACK, we need to invest in some hard, experienced midfielders who can pass the ball and think at the same time, we miss robson and hartley, remeber how we won the league when brown was out and robbo and hartley kicked us to the title, it was pure magic, and showed we need to get rid of brown,

but no way would i get rid of aiden, he is a jewel who in the right team would be a legend!

and gary caldwell wants a * rise after that - this five across the midfield is a joke especially away to a * team we have no belief, the midfield is not balanced in this formation - worst celtic performance ever even against allborg you could say the two goals were unlucky and we played decent football - this was disguisting to watch

That's a good point about Robson, we could do with him in there to replace Brown and give him a kick up the *.
