I think we'll see some different formations this season, maybe 2 up top at times?

I still think Osmund will get plenty of games, maybe the idea is to ease him in until January, and by then we'll know if this guy is good enough to properly challenge (and maybe that goes for Idah as well). Not to mention there'll be plenty of games where we'll have Maeda on the wings/resting.

It's not a position I think we were desperate in (unless we were going for someone of Kvistgaarden's ilk) but I'm not against it, we relied on Kenny a lot last year so having an extra striker isn't the worst thing.

 

I think he would be a better signing than the strikers we've been linked with so far this window, but still think we should be aiming a bit higher.

 

Looks like he could do a job on the wing.

First impression was meh and now I think if we give him the ball, he'll charge at the opposition, which I think I like.

Seen a poster on the huddleboard bump a post from the January window saying we were interested. Im starting to think its been a lazy link from the sun from someone we were interested in January

Like the look of him tbh.

Uses his body extremely well. Seems to have a superb burst of pace too. Looks to have a great work rate.

Like others im not too impressed with the club if this would indeed be the striker we are signing, as theres far better to be had out there for a bigger fee. But, c'est la Celtic. Looks like its gonna be a lean window in terms of outlays.

Looks like we made our "statement striker signing" with Idah, and we're reluctant to give Rodgers big fees for players he possibly won't be managing next year.

All in all, we could do worse.

 

Or deeper scouting than that, if we look at guys who have shown some exceptional form, might have stats like he has the following season but you can see it in him, what he has, all round game, skill and ability, and it’s at a point if you see enough and think that he’ll do it for us, in poor form is the best time fee wise.

You need to be very sure of that though. Because my examples for that go a long way back, but their * incredible ones - Henrik Larsson at Feyernood and Chris Sutton at Chelsea.

 

Quick, very strong and good running with the ball. Proper striker finishes as well..

Deffo has attributes that we don't have up top just now..

 

From the clips I can actually see comparisons with Maeda in that he's mibbes missing something technically atm but his attitude, work rate and desire are absolutely spot on.
