    I'd love Given and one of Long/Keane/Bellamy. (If I had to choose between Bellamy and Keane I'd take Keane, only because Bellamy has injury problems.)

    though must confess i am getting excited, Shay Given is one of the EPL's best goalkeepers, would be awesome if he joins! :50:

    Considering Given has publicly said that he wants to come back this season, the clubs of course going to be in contact with him. As we only need a few key purchases, will likely be selling several players and already have brought in 2 on free transfers, I see no reason why we can't afford him at around the 25-30k a week mark.

    Normally wouldn't pay attention to Twitter rumours, but this one might just be correct.

    Shay Given was with Alan Thompson in Belfast because they are both doing coaching badges through the Irish Football Association. The have to attend the course for the week and its like from 9am in morning till 8pm in the evening. All the lads on the course normally stay in Belfast for the week and go out together at night for a few beers.
