Sounds like this is done and that the player has made it happen which, regardless of what people may think of him, is a very good sign. A guy who could have stayed in the Premier League earning far more money but has decided to come up to Celtic and hopefully he brings the experience and aggression we need.

Feels a wee bit like a Martin O'Neil era signing. We've got a guy in his prime who has played a good chunk of his career in the EPL and we can be pretty certain he goes into the first-team and improves it. I imagine he'll do a year to be able to tick the 'played for Celtic' box like Robbie & Roy Keane and then he'll be away back to England, but hopefully he does well and sticks around.

 

We might get lucky and he fancies doing the 15IAR.
