He had a bad season with us and under the circumstances I can't really blame him.. not trying to make excuses for him but he's a very good player and far better than what we saw...

He’s not a very good player mate. He’s just not.

But…. How would he see him if no? He might just not have went or watched games when we had Oliver Tebily.

Amazing how he didn't just face plant and let him run through and score bcos that's certainly my recollection of him. A truly woeful player for us.

That wasn't the real Shane Duffy that played for us last season. Ronaldo would have struggled in our mess last year.

Boooooommmmm Duffy. He would have been a great signing for us under Ange

He's far better than what he showed last year, his father past before joining us so understandable enough. He had a * * manager too and most of our players regressed last year.

He’s playing well yes. But it’s not only that, he looks in much, much better nick. Last year, no exaggeration, the guy looked like he’d turned up to the pitch 10 minutes before kick off after a night on the sauce in a dive bar. That almost certainly speaks to a change in his own professionalism as well as a contrast in the levels of professionalism he is operating in this season (Potter’s Brighton) compared to last (Our abomination of a 10IAR campaign).

    Its simple psychology innit

His confidence is back, and playing with team-mates that support and fight for each each other whether for Brighton or Ireland,
