He was cramping up against Graz on Thursday so I wonder if that had anything to do with the sub, don’t want the play the boy into the ground when he’s our only bright spark.

0 G/A in the league in 5 starts

The lad can beat multiple players, can drive with the ball, does his defensive duties, however, there's no end product and that was the same at his previous club, he barely ever scores or assists, don't know how long we can continue to play a player that doesn't score or assist regularly as a winger, look at the Greek winger at Hearts that scored against us today, he's got 2 goals and 5 assists in the league so far and was a free transfer to Hearts, whereas Tounekti cost us around £5M

Paul Tisdale needs sacked immediately btw

Stats don't tell accurate picture here.
He's created multiple good chances and openings for the team - just because others aren't doing thee job, doesn't mean he isn't.

This lad is a good player.
    Subbing him was astonishing today.

Even at his previous club last season he had 3 goals in 21 games in the Swedish league, he's not a prolific scorer

I agree he has talent but without consistent end product what's the point almost, I think he'd be far better suited to a formation that requires a LWB, not a huge burden to score or assist regularly, but great at skipping past players, carrying the ball up the pitch and does his defensive duties, winger seems too much responsibility for a player with his G/A stats

Why did he not go down when he got clipped in the box right at the start of the 2nd half?

Assists mean nothing. He’s creates plenty of chances. Not his fault they aren’t finished or no one is there to convert.

Assists mean nothing? They do some on, some of our best wingers in the last 5 years have had brilliant G/A ratios and we would kill for that at the moment.

He’s not scoring either which others have done in the past.

Hes a bright spark in a very * team but doesn’t mean the OP is wrong.

    1 goal 0 assists in 9 games.

It's shows how absolutely * we've been this season that the Tunisian Mickey Johnston is being looked upon as a bright spark

Another one who flatters to deceive. Would be a back up at best in years gone by.

Won’t lie think a lot of our fans are overhyping this lad as we’ve had an utterly woeful transfer window. He’s been decent so far.

6 out of 10 so far.

Needs to start seriously providing a goal threat and not pretending to offer it

He’s much, much, better than the recent comments in this thread. He’s a dangerous player that needs to add end product to his game. That was the case from the start and remains the case.

I think we should at least try him on the right hand side, in game if need be, it’ll help the team and possibly even him.

Where I don’t think his end product is good enough it’s hard to get an assist in this team the now as no one tries to attack a cross or pass into the box they just stand about and watch whilst defenders clear it away. During the week against Sturm Graz the finishing was shockingly bad but at least there was effort to get on the end of things today was back to guys being nowhere near it. The last 5 minutes of the game Donovan flashes a ball across their 6 yard box both Balikwisha and Shin are on their heels and nowhere near getting on the end of it. It’s been the same all season with Iheanacho too.

Where the rest of the team isn’t playing to it’s level a decent striker and an actual right winger would have us doing far better than we are.

Were he’s lauded we bashed Mikey Johnston he’s utter pish his body of work mirrors that. Can have all the fast feet you want if you can’t put the ball in the net or create anything you’re useless.

He’s the only currently fit attacking player that resembles anything like you’d expect from a Celtic forward. Taking him off was madness considering he was out only threat.

against Dundee he was at fault for one of the goals against graz he lost the ball for there goal and he has only provided one actual assist its ok all this dribbling stuff but he is in danger of becoming yang 2.0 no end product

He sometimes tries too hard to make something happen on his own but sometimes I feel he looks up and noone is showing. I dont think there is much to criticise. He is a bright spark in a team that so often looks absolutely flat.
