Look at his stats prior to Celtic, barely any goals or assists. I'm just not sure there was any talent really there to begin with.

I had mentioned that some guy had said he wasnt actually creative, sure I might have posted the link in here.

So it was a worry. Ill give him he'll at least try and do something but his final ball is shocking and seemed to fit the bill of the guy who mentioned this.

Last 15 mins of the first half he has them on toast, should have at least 1 assist.

Was slightly frustrating a couple of times but outwith that he was excellent..

Some of those balls in and his drive and skill to get the space was top drawer..

Thought he was really good 1st half and would’ve had at least 1 assist if we had a decent striker.

As said previously, domestically teams have sussed us out and know to double up on him.
But if we play like we did tonight, where we passed the ball faster, moved and showed for the ball more, then opponents can't double up on him as much and we see the rewards for his abilities.

Overall a very good night from him

There's a really good player in there and if he can be coached well, he'll be great for us.

Decision making needs sharpened. It'll come.

A real danger when he's at it.

Thought he was outstanding . Beating two or three at a time and putting the ball in perfectly for a tap in if we had a proper poacher. 3 assists on another night..
It's actually rare to have a direct winger that can genuinely beat a man consistently inside or to the byline , as oppose to the usual get half a yard.

Think he will get better and better.

Kept at it last night after a very frustrating opening 30 minutes. Sometimes feel he needs to release the ball much quicker.

he'd have 3/4 assists more if we had a striker.. every game he flashes one across the face and nobody attacks it. Very happy with him so far, he makes it look effortless going by his full back.

Captain disappointed is going to be in * knots against him.

If he adds a small second of composer, he can aim his cross at someone and not just smash it. Smashing works when you've got a last line kyogo, not so much just now. Just a we second delay, look up and I bet his assits sky rocket.

Hatate playing in that half space and working hard to run in behind like last night needs to become the norm again and it'll leave him 1v1 a lot more like the first half.

    Agree man.
It's almost like we are happy to play the game at the back and if an attack opens, we may take it.

When we need to play in the attack and have faith in the backline/defensive players to cover a mistake.

We totally play in the wrong third, physically and mentally.
And it's doing no help to guys like Tounekti

nothing wrong with flashing it across and expecting someone to be there imo, very hard to pick someone out surrounded by defenders on your weak side after getting half a yard.

if he can get to jota level on his final ball he won't be here very long.

So far atleast I can say this, his attitude translates onto the pitch and i think it makes for an interesting player to watch. I'm quite pleased with what i'm seeing.

Excellent again, him and KT starting to form a good partnership as well. He flashed some cracking balls in, just worry that he was cramping up so possibly getting overplayed already as well.
