St Ledger has two years left on his contract at Preston.

We will probably get him for 3 mill inclusive of add-ons.

Any more than that & we should tell them to stuff it - and leave them with a very dissatisfied player on their hands.

He'd be a very good signing up here IMO. I like that he's comfortable with the ball at his feet etc and he does well in the air despite his height.

i that word came fae a guy who phoned in real radio phone in and said his cousin or summit works for st johns ambulance service and over heard the big cheifs talking about 2.5 m plus mick madness sounds a good deal but sorry to burst the guy on real radios bubble but all contract talk if took place would be done behind closed doors and the media would had light of st ledger at parkhead...

Big Mick would probably do well in the championship. I think he needs a new challenge.
