    Looking good...

If we get both CBs and also manage to get Stilic, and possibly a striker on loan (already got KI), combined with getting Caldwell, Robson and a few other fringe players off the wage bill i'd be more than happy with mobrays dealings this window.

The Average is brought down, quality of play will be better and we should have a team that would grow together in the next 5 years.

we can only be happy if this happens and they prove they have improved the team by getting us results.

I'm sure the 3 club rule only applies to permanent transfers.

I think it applies to seasons, but if a player transfers from a league with a different system (like playing in the summer instead of the Scottish system), then it would fall under the special dispensation too I believe. It was like that for Mascherano, when he joined Liverpool despite playing for Corinthians and West Ham, but they had a different league system in Brazil.

Why is it mad to spend more than 2 million on a young Irish International who contained some of the best forwards in the world (Anelka, The Cheat) in one of the most pressure filled games he will ever play? 2.5 and I would take it in a heartbeat, him and Hooiveld together would be a scary good combination.

Agree with you there. He is better than what we have, is only goin gto get better and is already a fully fledged international who contained some of the best players in the world against france and italy

caldwell scored against france when we SCOTLAND THE BRAVE beat them 1-0 and contained them also contained them in france when we beat them does that make him worth 3 million aswell ? no dint think so just because he plays in england they always over price players imo we payed 2.5 mil for super loovens fs . i think we could get better players for the money preston want tbh if we look a bit further than championship . a do think hes good just not done enough to comand a 3.5 4 mil price tag that his team want imo .
