ive seen st ledger a few times this year at ireland matches in croker,good defender,really promising future ahead of him,if we can get him we'll have the best years of this lad,hope this happens just what we need a good solid centre back,theres not many strikers who will get the better of this lad

Iv only seen him for Ireland but having Dunne beside him will mean he will look better than he is. I wouldnt pay anymore than 1.5mil for him.

Had a bid rejected. Should really be upping the bid if they are serious about signing him. I don't think 2.5 is pushing it too much.

 

if the player says he is gonna sign a pre contract with us to his club ,then surely that will drive the price down ,this is wot you would do if you are keen to get the deal done agent would advise this probably,so why offer more money its up to him if he wants to come he knows wot to do.

 

also we sold the international defender caldwell for 1 mill with 6mnth left on his contract ,ok he may not be as good but you get my point.

 

But if they are gona try hold out for 3-4 million then surely it isn't asking much to up teh bid a bit instead of losing out

 

Think we will def have to up the bid but it could all depend on whos going through the exit door. I really want him to sign brand new cb partnership exactly what we need.
