I know we didnt get alot of money for the 4 players leaving bu i think we will get him and i think that could be why we sold Robbo

yep i reckon so, i doubt another striker will be coming though i think skippy's sale would have funded that, you never know we might get a few good players on pre-contract

McManus is much maligned but they have put in some immense performances in huge games for Celtic in the CL and for Scotland. Playing for wee countries like Ireland or Scotland (even captaining them) is no guarantee that you are a good player. Poor players can raise their game occasionally for huge games. McManus certainly has and O'Dea played well against Milan but cannot even play well for Reading.

£3 Million plus McManus would be fine by me , that's the maximum price i would say is reasonable and we are getting another player of the wage bill!

if you ask me its 3m for st leger and use can take mick for * all since we enjoyed doing business with you.all the talk about getting 1.5 mil for mick, come on how many on here would be happy if tm spend that on a player as pish as mcmanus the guy is a poor excuse for a defender just like the dud we got rid of.3 years ago the huns bot cuellar for 2.5 and boughy was about the same i think

I would not go over 2.5 Million maximum for St.Ledger, I think there is higher quality players outside the UK for cheaper, just a case of being arsed finding one.

That said, I would welcome St.Ledger to Celtic, I think he could do a job for us, as long as Jos proves to be a worthy CB partner.

I can't see them letting him go for anything less than £3 million, the deal they had agreed with Boro would have seen them bag around £4.5 million if it hadn't fallen through. I'm sure they'll find someone willing to give them the money...
