Alwats good to see one of the youth players vet a chance. Don't do it enough for me but when the pressure is on to win every game and you have a big squad to keep happy, it obviously isn't that easy.

Not one i’d even really heard of until he was on the bench which is unusual before they break in.

Looked good so will never see him again.

They also haven’t been good enough, the best of every year group has left for years Hepburn, Doak, Vata.. they would all be in the squad.

If anyone watched that youth game against Rangers you will know the standard was * light years away.

Looks a good prospect. Lovely touches and quickly makes his mind up..

Can see by the challenge late on with Bushiri that he's clearly way off physically for first team football..

Missed his 10 mins or as my stream died, seems like he done well enough. Hope he steps up and stakes a claim for more involvement

while there was also a first-team debut for 17-year-old midfielder, Sean McCardle, who came with just over five minutes remaining.

Sean’ss been doing really well with the B Team. He’s tenacious and he’s only going to get better. He needs to keep the aggression in his game.

“He can run, he can pass the ball well and now he has to look at the examples of the Academy players who have come through the system in how to sustain that.

"But this gives him a bit of reward for all the really good work that he’s done and hopefully he can build on that.”

This is a bug bear of mine. Obviously they’re still growing but you’d think they’d make gym and nutrition non negotiable for the academy

Sure they do but hard to entirely legislate for how a teenager develops physically as they'll all develop differently and at a different pace.
