    Sunday game :87:

You'd have thought we'd deffo get the Saturday with the sheep having to travel and the likelihood of polis advice with the two Edinburgh mobs with a shorter travel as well..

My Granda's off the booze for lent, so he's buzzing it's the Sunday slot.

I'm off on Easter Monday so wasn't fussed either way. 3pm is a decent KO time.

Just have to hope we're successful in the ballot now. Don't know how they're going to work it with no home cup games this season.

Should still have been a Saturday for our game mate. No sure why they've stuck us in for the Sunday..

I'm usually all for half and half for big game's but in recent year's the sheep have been an utter joke with selling their allocation. They should get no more than about 12 thousand..

I thought the Sunday was always the most likely as Premier will see it as the better game and want it at a time when others can watch it.

Aye, even if they only get 12k though. Once the sponsors get their slice, I'm not sure there'll be enough for everyone on the HCTS this time.

I've only just clocked bank holiday weekend with your post as well mate. Makes more sense now :50:

Thing is they'll probably be allocated more than 12 still..

Aye but the viewership for Sunday games is much higher I believe with all the Saturday 3pm kick-offs out the way.

I think that's why we're selected disproportionately for Sunday games.

So instead of the sensible cost of policing and safety and travel...both games at hampden with celtic again playing second.

Bewildering why celtic game cant be evening ko saturday so the sheep can make it down and enjoy the day whilst an early ko in the capital for 2 teams from theneffin capital

Same teams in the last four as when Hearts won it in 2012 (though obviously different ties).

If the game was to go to extra-time and penalties, there's only one train running back to Aberdeen afterwards. It's fine if it's a normal away game for them, but not if 15,000 are coming down the road.

Out of the four teams - they're the ones who are at the biggest disadvantage travel wise. Sunday 3pm is the best time for them. Makes sense to stick it on at that time. Think we sometimes take it for granted having a semi-final in our own city.

The Edinburgh teams having a lunchtime kick-off - all that means is they're leaving the capital at the same time as the Aberdeen fans will be leaving for a 3pm kick-off, so they've not got much to moan about either.
