I agree 100%. I think his "going to buy an £8m player" nonsense yesterday suggests he is already fearing season book sales next year. I never thought I would stop going to celtic park like I have this season, and of maybe 10 friends I know who used to go every week, 2 of them still go. We are dying a slow death.

Ran all the way from the * Gorbals in the * rain in about 20 minutes as I didn't realise it was an early kick off :smiley-laughing002: * idiot...

That was * though. I thought we started well enough but Aberdeen deserved the win, probably more because we were * than them being good, but meh. I was sat in with the Feyenoord guys in 111. * knows what they thought of the atmosphere. There were a few of us trying to get it going to no avail. Part of me wanted to run down the stairs and scream at everyone to get the * off their arses and give the team some encouragement, but I'd likely get chucked out.

I don't know what the rest of you thought but Johansen was shocking today imo.

I've been saying similar for a few years now. This policy we are currently using is ripping the soul out of the club imo. It also will not help attract that good a standard of player and worse, mean that any good players we do have will want out the door quicker.

Ledley was sold, no replacement was signed. We go out of the cup. It's that simple.

No right midfielder, no left midfielder. Wingers. No strikers, wingers.

I hope not, * knows what the score would have been had he not played that great ball to set up Stokes for our goal. I do hope that's the last we'll ever see of James Forrest, but unfortunately I know it won't be. He's no better than Mark Burchill.

Haha yeah typical scottish rant were * has to be every sentence :smiley-laughing002: we need a standing section that looks very likely but until that happens we need a singing section firstly to get at least half way to a decent atmosphere.

I agree. Having a healthy balance sheet is good and well. But support should not be waning from any sports team at a time when they are going through one of the most successful periods in their history. Yet that is exactly what is happening. It is due to many things of course but the club policy certainly doesn't help. The score was disappointing today but the fact that the game today represents probably our biggest domestic home game in a couple of years and it is met with such lethargy from so many fans is a bigger problem from the club. And it is almost certainly going to get worse.

Thing is, if you look at our revenue streams nowadays, income comes from champions league football firstly, and selling players secondly. The size of crowd is actually not a primary concern any more. That is why while the board will be concerned, they wont be too troubled.

Well, well, well. Where do you start?

Fair play to Aberdeen. They came here to win and, in my opinion, deserved it. The worst performance all season. I've never seen Brown so intimidated and non-existent in a domestic game in my life and Johansen was *-awful. Robson and Flood bullied, harrassed and ran over the top of them and 9 times out of 10, if you lose the midfield battle you'll lose the game.

No idea why Samaras is in the team. The guy doesn't want to be here so why the * is Lennon playing him?. Moreover, Forrest needs to have a look at himself. His final ball was non-existent, he never gave Matthews any help on the right and whenever he lost the ball, he just gave up and didn't try to win it back. How he played the full game I'll never know because if it was me in charge, he'd have been hooked after 60 minutes at least.

Aberdeen sat in when we had the ball and we could not break them down. The movement in the final third was lethargic and flat and there was no creativity whatsoever. Aberdeen pressed aggressively usually with two men at a time and we couldn't deal with it. When we went behind, we never looked like scoring and Aberdeen were comfortable. Lennon had no idea what to do whatsoever and he lacks the tactical nouse. We have no plan B.

The players gave up after the the second goal went in. Absolutely furious and Lennon blaming the full-backs is the easy way out. He has to accept that we were bullied and outplayed and deserved to get beat.

Though Forrest was ok. Set up Virgil who should have scored, Griffith who should have scored and he also picked out Balde.

Not as bad as people are making out. Was probably our best player today but that doesn't say much.

He was great at times and lazy as * at other times.

He seems to do all the hard work running past the defender on the wing and then always puts in a * floater of a cross that sails over everyone's head.

Absolutely. But some people just have this refusal to admit it. If you swap his performance with Samaras', the same people would be endlessly praising the assist and saying that Sammy did nothing productive all day.

I would be delighted if we sold Forrest this summer. Some English team with too much money is bound to be happy to give us £1million to use him as a squad member.
