Barely touched the ball even when we were on top in the first ten. A rare off night for him.

Good for SPL, but unless he is on form, not a top, top player. We are at the stage where if we are to beat the best, our top players all have to perform at the same time. He hasn't been good the last few weeks, but overall, his performances have more than made up for that.

Amazing player......if he had been on form tonight we could have been five or six up in the first half hour....I'm sure he will bring his 'A'game to the final along with the rest of the lads....can only see us giving them another gubbing

I don't think too much is expected of him, I think too much is thought of him. I think he's a great player, his record is fantastic and I'm delighted we have him . But I've read so many people say something along the lines of "he's the best player in Scotland/league of his own" etc etc and I think it's wrong. He's not a better player in his respective position than Broony, definitely not for me. I think he's overrated tbh and I'm not saying that to bring the guy down, as I've said he's a great player. But you'd think he's flawless with the way some talk about him. He's quick, good dribbler, excellent finisher(on his right side atleast) and his movement is terrific. Has flaws though

Every player has their flaws, but still think Sinclair has brought a whole new dimension to the team this season....but agree totally with you, Broony has been sensational and a true leader on the park and our best player imo this season by a mile.

No doubt he's brought something that we never had in the team. He's been an inspired signing. But he does have tendency to go missing in games and also a tendency to be wasteful in possession a bit too often but aye. He's a great asset.

It does worry me that he has games like that fairly often where he just seems off the pace completely. Even in the 5-1 Ibrox game where the rest of the team were on fire, I thought his touch, passing and shooting were poor.

I remember he was our stand out player at the Nou Camp that night we were hammered 7-0. He looked comfortable and still dangerous, a player who didn't seem to lose his ability when he stepped onto the european stage.

Doesn't help that he's undroppable and unsubable even when he's having a poor game/run of games.

I do rate him though, hopefully just a phase. Dembele is similar, but he's a young player, so it's more understandable. I feel a player of Sinclair's age, experience and ability should be one of our stalwarts week in, week out.

The reality is, if he didn't have those flaws, he'd be playing at a top 6 EPL side and not with us.

He can be frustrating at time but even when he's having a poor game you still expect him to do something. There's just something dangerous about him.

    Great point, nail on head!

Occasionally inconsistent, occasionally superb and unstoppable.

Be interesting to see if he kicks on next year and sustains his outstanding performances for longer, or loses motivation/gets booted out of the league.

I always worry about "second season syndrome"

If we continue to be so dominant there is going to be a drop or even loss of motivation at some stage.

He's a winger, inconsistency at times is in his genes.

However, he's a superb player who pops up with a goal when you least expect it, the sign of class. Can change a game in an instant. One game where we the WHOLE team was on the back foot doesn't change that.

He is - by a distance - the most productive and consistent winger we've had since MoN days and possibly further. Had a few below-par games but to criticise the guy is totally hypercritical. As mentioned above, if he played to the top level he can every single game then he wouldn't be with us.
