One of our most gifted players, along with Roberts & Rogic.

Actually reminds me of a certain Henrik Larsson in his first season here, minus the horrific debut.

That bad it took 7 years for you to be able to come out the woodwork and say a player you're happy 'replaced' him.

That's exactly what Jeanie said..and I said stay off the gin.. :84:

I know what you mean tho he is the same type of build.. but don't think he'll revert to out and out striker.

I would agree with that. McGeady frustrated the life out of me.Sinclair any day of the week.
But yet Ally McCoist thought McGeady was a great player ? Shows you how opinions can differ in football wildly.

I really liked McGeady. Will always remember the time he terrorised AC Milan in the Champions League. He should have done more with the talent he had.

Scotty's performances should encourage a lot of other players forgotten in England (Rodwell, Delph) too come here and turn a failing career around

The 1-0 against Benfica is possibly the best ever performance from an individual player I've ever seen at that level for us.

McGeadys having a great season with Preston to be fair.

Really didn't live up to his potential though.

Don't know how anyone could dislike Mcgeady, one of few players that everytime he had the ball you thought he was going to do something. Wasn't the greatest goal scoring winger but then Sinclair is very rare in that sense.

Substitute dislike with frustrate and you have got it.
He had that one little trick, the feint and dummy. One trick pony.

We've missed a player like McGeady ever since he left...up until this season. I'd have loved him back a couple of years back but not sure now.

All up there as well. As well as Stephen Pearson against Barca, oddly enough :56:

If only we had signed Johnny Hayes. Maybe Scott Allan can play out wide?

You're not the one to be dishing out judgement on footballers. Well, accurate judgement anyway.

McGeady still splitting opinion like no other.. :56:

He should have achieved much more, his move to Russia was good for us, not sure it was the best for the player..

At 30 he still has time to finish his career on a high, bring him home BR..:fear:

McGeady done a great job for us and was able to terrorise opposition defences. He was frustrating as * at times though as he was capable of beating several players but then his final ball would let him down.
