Sitting watching it with my brother and we were both saying the same thing. He was calling for him to be subbed as it 'wasn't his day'. I said you have to keep him on as his directness and pace is a problem, even when no playing well...... Then he bangs one in..

    Can't argue..

Aye, it just wasn't working for him but I didn't want him off. Some players are just like that, used to do the same with Commons, Naka, Hooper, Larsson...

Can't wait to see him in the Champions League again, a constant threat.

Think there's been a few games this season where nothing seemed to be working for him and he was quite frustrating, but then pops up with a goal or assist.

    Just always a threat.

Poor today but popped up with a cracking goal out of nowhere.

May be a well worn cliché but that is the sign of a good player.

I remember @PaulM1888 stating something along the lines of, 'It's amazing the difference a quality player up top can make', in reference to Markus Rosenberg of Malmo, after they beat us in Sweden. Sinclair reminds me of that. He's our best signing for quite a while.

Didn't think he was poor today at all. Thought he ran excellently with the ball. Even more impressive given that we were playing against a bunch of hatchetmen who were just kicking everything in sight.

    Aye.

I remember saying it numerous times. We lacked a talisman in Europe for ages and now we have 2 or 3.

YEah i remembr it well with larsson then he used to pop up and score one or two vital goals. Thats why its vitally important to keep your best players on ll game because that split sec, they can change it

Aye I didn't have any thoughts of replacing him at all, he's got that brilliant ability to come inside and disrupt the whole back line because of the speed he does it at they're not sure what to do and it either can give him a shot on goal chance or a decent through ball. But he's definitely a constant threat with that pace and directness to goal, it always gives us hope when someone is constantly playing that style even on a bad day it just takes a sloppy bit of defending and he's in on goal.

It makes sense that he started out as a striker because he finishes like one. Was excellent again today, calm as you like. He's got 14 now top goal scorer in Scotland so far which is not bad for a winger in his first season.

    Disagree completely..

His passing was off. His running with the ball was off. He wasn't involved enough (bar the goal), and was generally not his self..

A bit random but did anyone else notice he seemed quite unhappy today? Even at the final whistle he seemed * off?

Just an observation I made throughout the game especially in the second half

He was just gutted he didn't get a goal. He didn't see much of the ball today either so he maybe feels disappointed on a personal level.

Noticed Brendan having a long word with him though, it's all good :50:

Rodgers was saying the other day that Sinclair is always angry with himself when he doesn't get a goal in a game.

    Nothing to worry about.
