Someone needs to put the Benny Hill theme on a video of that.

He's helped transform us this year. Quick, good feet, intelligent movement and an eye for goal.

I didn't know what to make of the move in the beginning. Sometimes you get the impression these guys are more bothered about their pay packets and celebrity girlfriends, but he looks like he came here to enjoy his football - and he's doing exactly that.

I always thought hed be great and was choking for us to sign him.

He is a player who is too good for the English Championship but not suited the EPL as he likes to attack and play football and the clubs he's capable of playing for bottom half teams don't see enough of the ball to keep him occupied. We're the perfect team for him, he can score for fun, tear teams apart, not need to defend too much and see as much of the ball as he wants plus play in Europe and in front of 50,000 odd every other week.

Didn't have any doubts about his ability. For Chelsea to sign him as a boy and Man City to fork out decent money for him when he was older, he clearly had talent.

I was just concerned about how he'd gone from club to club without really doing much. Before he signed I just wondered whether the hunger was still there. A lot of players in England don't see football outside the EPL bubble, because that's all you really get down south.

To be fair to him, he's come here to enjoy his football again, win trophies and enjoy his life in general. Think he could be here for quite a while, yet.

Yes great signing and a brilliant playmaker. Was fantastic yesterday but could have scored a few more. Left the ball under him twice, stopped him from breaking through. But it is refreshing to see players like Broony and Armstrong are not miles away from the same standard. Which I would have scoffed at last year. But Brendan has restored faith all round.

Superb article, and from the horses mouth himself, he ain't here for a pay cheque, he has loves football and knows he is at that age where he needs to find his level and get on with enjoying it.
Think him and his wife will be here long term and the more they stay the more they will love the club and the city. Just look at commons and his wife comments lately. This place does something to folk, Sinclair has the makings of doing just that as well.

Reckon he knows he has his money, he now wants to enjoy his football and win some medals and have something to look fondly back on in later life. Medals, trophies, icon status amongst a passionate support.

    Welcome home Scott

Was brilliant watching this guy on Saturday, he's genuinely better than I could ever have expected when he signed. It's rare that you find a player so comfortable beating his man regardless of wether they press or stand off, and the best thing about him is that literally everything he does has product at the end of it, he's never beating a player just for the sake of it like McGrady, or beating them but lacking an end product, if he makes a half yard of space you can expect him to get a shot away or create a chance.

Really hope he's going to be here for the long run and that he can keep this level of performance up.

He's too good to have a bad game, domestically anyway. Similar to O'Neills players Hartson, Sutton, Thompson, Lennon, Lambert, Mjallby and that. He's about 3 levels above players from other Scottish teams that even on an offday his movement and ability on the ball and pace and vision allows him to still cause problems.
