He is absolutely integral to this team.

A call up should be on the cards imo.

Didn't mean it just to be about today it's all the time he gets caught out so many times per game when he does it

Delighted for him with the winner and his play at times but wasnt his best

The mark of brilliant players is doing * all for 89 and scoring the winner in a minute. Sinclair wasn't at races today for most of the game, but his run was perfectly executed and he won us the game. No complaints.

Disagree with anything negative. His touch wasn't quite at it's best but he harassed them with his running all day. Tavernier will have nightmares.

Best player in the country by a long way.

Absolutely tore them to shreds at times with his running.

He was excellent today, couple of times though I thought he should have passed to a player who what looked like to me was in a better position and I was getting a little frustrated, but we see the game differently to how the players see it on the pitch being in the stand or watching on T.V. He is a hero harassed them all through the game what a player!

Even though I love him. I disagree with this. He's a terrific player but is he of higher quality than the likes of Broony or Rogic? If he is then it isn't by much.

Now's not the time to highlighting slight negatives but we fairly missed Rogic today. I think I may have been under-rating Rogic up to now.

Sinclair's pace and movement is the best in the country but I think Rogic is probably a better player.

Different types of player, both attacking but very different. That's why they fit in.

Thought he and Dembele tore them apart second half. Superb. His movement, pace and skill was too much for them. Tavernier will have a sleepless night.

He actually plays better with Tierney in the team which is scary considering how good he is now

A bit wasteful in the first half but immense in the second. Been a great signing.

DERBY hero Scott Sinclair reckons Celtic’s fighting spirit came to the fore in yesterdays’ 2-1 triumph away to Rangers.

The winger scored the decisive goal at Ibrox with 20 minutes left on the clock after Moussa Dembele’s venomous half-volley had cancelled out Kenny Miler’s early opener for the home side.

And it was no more than Brendan Rodgers’ side deserved after dominating huge swathes of the game, particularly in the second half when they created a host of excellent chances.

“It was great,” said Sinclair. “The main thing was we got the job done and won the game. We haven’t been 1-0 down in many games we have played so it showed our character moving forward. When we go 1-0 down, we get the ball down, keep calm and keep creating chances.

“I always thought they would come out all guns blazing straight away in the first 10 minutes. They were up for it as were we. They scored their goal and the crowd got behind them. We had to deal with that and show our character and come back.

“I have never played here before and the magnitude of the game is unbelievable and it’s great to be part of it, play in it and score the winner as well. It didn’t really surprise me, it was just a massive game to play in. We are always up for games, especially the big ones, and it was great to go and get the three points.”

The Glasgow derby success saw Celtic clock up their 15th successive league victory and means they go into 2017 unbeaten domestically at the halfway point in the season.

It was also fitting way for Sinclair to end a success-filled first six months in Paradise since his summer move from Aston Villa.

A firm fans’ favourite and a key member of the side, the 27-year-old has now scored 11 league goals for Bhoys and he just wants to maintain this individual and collective momentum into the new year.

“Winning was the main thing so we finish 2016 on a high and hopefully we can go into 2017 doing the same and and keep winning," said Sinclair.

“As soon as I signed I hit the ground running and it’s been great, so I just want to continue what I’m doing, scoring goals, creating and adding to the team, progressing and winning games, and hopefully that will keep going.

“We just go into every game trying to win but it’s game-by-game. People are always going to say how long can you go unbeaten but with our quality and character in the dressing room, if we keep showing up on these weekends then we can just continue.

“We have gone on such a good run of winning so many games back to back. We go away for the winter break and we just refresh the batteries, be a little fresher and ready to go again.”

Sinclair was also keen to thank Brendan Rodgers in helping him find his top form again after difficult spells at Manchester City and Aston Villa.

“It’s great when a manager knows you,” he added. “Over the past couple of years I have had some tough times and in and out of sides. When you know a manager and he believes in you then you can see the confidence in my game. I am scoring goals and I couldn’t ask for anything better.”
