Genuine sadness that he’s gone, feels like the end of an era. Out the picture or not.

What a player he was over the years, history will look back at his time very fondly.

Wish him all the best, if nothing else he will start to enjoy his football again with a manager that trusts in him.

There was only one person who froze Sinclair out and that is the same person that picked morgan ahead of Sinclair - Lenny. How he rated morgan ahead of Sinclair is beyond me, I'd be * off to be dropped for morgan and I'm 51 :giggle1:

Totally agree. Will always remember his time in the hoops fondly so many important goals and great memories and such an important part of the success that has been the treble treble years.

Seen a thing there 6 Celtic players in 2017 and it said “if you said to me only Johnny Hayes would be the only player at Celtic in 2020” or something of that ilk.

    6 players where

    tierney
    Dembele
    Armstrong
    Sinclair
    Roberts
    Hayes.

to put it into context we now sold 4 of that six for £53m plus in the last 18 months!!!!

Came to Celtic. Played in 10 domestic competitions. Scored in 10 domestic competitions. Won 10 domestic competitions. Lead the way for an invincible season and a treble treble. Was involved in 34% of our goals (goals and assists during that time). Then left.

Must be one of our most successful players ever.

Wish him all the best. It's a pity things went the way they did, he should have been allowed to go at the end of last season, when his contract was up, with a proper farewell. Instead we extend his contract with the sole intention of getting a fee, which didn't work out, then froze him out. Not exactly classy from us.

I hope he regains his form down there, but after apparently being deemed less useful than Lewis Morgan you would have to think his self confidence must be shot.

I don’t find it sad that he’s gone... because that’s the best thing all round now and particularly for the player.

What really has saddened me is that a player with so much skill couldn’t be fitted into the team a lot more over the last year.

It feels like the club has seriously neglected a genuine goal scoring resource.

I hope he goes on a rampage at Preston and shows a few folk at CP just how wasteful his absence in matches has been.

It's sad to see him go. But truth is he hasnt been good enough in his overall play for quite a while, the time for him to go was in the summer and we * that up.

How he was treated afterwards wasnt brilliant, but at the same time he didnt deserve to play left wing based on his performances. Would have preferred him to Morgan when we had no strikers though.

    Hopefully he refinds his form
