By the end he was absolutely * but looked to still be trying to run through it. His work rate last night was genuinely exceptional, I rate him extremely highly but he went up in my estimations as a grafter last night.

Just shows if you're willing to spend a bit of money and trust your manager you'll often get quality for it in my opinion. Look at our two best players last night, Toure and Sinclair, Toure must be on a decent wage and both 100% our managers signings.

I've no idea how we didn't get a foul when he was chopped down last night.

Had a good game considering what was going on around him. If only he scored one of his chances it's have taken the heat off of us.

Said as soon as he came on and scored against hearts he would instantly improve our team. Class player.

He done a lot of running last night, and was still trying to close down late in the game. My only criticism is that I feel he can get sucked in when being asked to help the full back, and it leaves Tierney with a 2 v 1 situation if the ball gets switched quickly. I felt he left Tierney quite exposed first half. He was our biggest attacking threat though, and as already mentioned, he put in a lot of work.

SS: "Any player comes to Celtic because it's a massive club & to play #UCL football.

SS: "I have come here, we have got through and now we are in the #UCL group stages.

SS on the UCL draw "It's going to be difficult but it's great for the fans.

SS: "Had @FCBarcelona nearly every time we have been in the UCL & that will be great.

SS: "Going back to @ManCity will be fantastic on a personal level.

SS: "Not a point to prove. Being in UCL & involved is much better for me when at @ManCity I feel at home here & properly involved.

SS: "It will be nice to go back to @ManCity and see some old faces and friends.

SS on home #UCL matches:"It's going to be unbelievable. All the players say how hard it is to come to Celtic Park.

SS: "Always want to challenge. As player & team you go out there to try and win. But I don't think we have much pressure on us.

SS: "It will be very difficult for teams with the amount of fans behind us, creating that atmosphere. It will be unbelievable.

SS on where he watched #UCLdraw :"I was actually on the phone to my brother. He was keeping me updated as I was looking at a house.

SS: "Feels like I have been here much longer than I have. Settled in unbelievably well. Fans, players & club made me feel so welcome.

SS on @AberdeenFC test: "Will be very tough. All the teams that come to Celtic Park try to put that extra 10% in and perform.

SS: "It's up to us to keep playing our normal game, creating chances, scoring goals and making sure we come away with the 3 points.

Hopefully we get one or two more of his quality in.

An example of what we should have been doing over the last few years, spending that wee bit extra for quality rather than going for quantity which probably just ends up being around the same outlay considering how many players you have to buy before you get one right.

If not the best, certainly one of the best. One of my favourite players already. Just love how fast he is. Every time he gets the ball I feel like something good could happen.

He has transformed us this season.
Speed, dribbling, eye for goal and a pass....what we have been missing out on that wing.

Get Roberts back and we are probably blessed with the best forward line since Larsson/Sutton/Hartson.

    There I said it :fear:

SCOTT Sinclair says he’s relishing a return to his former employers Manchester City in the UEFA Champions League group phase.
The 27-year-old spent three years at the big-spending Citizens but found his game-time limited, with fierce competition for places in the attacking department.
And now he will go head-to-head with some of his former team-mates after Celtic were drawn alongside the English Premier League side, along with Barcelona and Borussia Monchengladbach in Group C.
But Sinclair insisted he won’t have a point to prove against City as Celtic gear up for what has been dubbed as the toughest section in the competition.
He said: “Any player comes to Celtic because it’s a massive club and also to play Champions League football. I have come here, we have got through and now we are in the group stages.
"It’s going to be difficult but it’s great for the fans. Obviously we have had Barcelona nearly every time we have been in the Champions League so that will be great and going back to City on a personal level will be fantastic for myself.
“I don’t really have a point to prove but being in the Champions League and being involved is much better on a personal level than when I was at City. I wasn’t really involved for some weeks but I feel at home here and properly involved and I can’t wait to get started.
“It will just be nice to go back and see some old faces and friends. It will just be great to back in there.
“Obviously, it’s evolved. They've got new players and a new manager so times have moved on. In football, things move on so quickly but there are a few faces that I still know so it will nice to go back and play against them.”
Celtic will have to defy the odds to progress from their illustrious group but Sinclair believes they can look forward to the challenge without any pressure.
The new Bhoy also knows the Scottish champions’ chances of success in the home fixtures will be boosted by the intimidating caldron of Paradise.
“As a player and as a team you go out there to try and win – that’s the main thing – but I don’t think we have much pressure on us,” he said. “We will go out there and hopefully play without pressure and play our game.
“No group is easy. You get the big teams in the Champions League and all the group stages will be difficult, but to have Barcelona and Man City will make it very difficult but I don’t think we have that much pressure to go out there. We just need to play our game and enjoy it.
“All the players have said how hard it is to come to Celtic Park and it will be very difficult with the amount of fans right behind us, creating that atmosphere which will be unbelievable.”

Unbelievable impact. 4 goals in 4 domestic games, probably an assist or 2 and won us 2 penalties.

Good start to the game, then a quiet spell, and picked it up again nearer the end.

Great signing, and he has the wide left position nailed down.

Glad Dembele let him take the pen as he won it with his own brilliance. When running at defences, especially now with his confidence back, he's unstoppable.

I'd say he's our best player. Can just tell he's a top premiership player, he's a class above everything else in this division and hopefully can improve his younger team mates like Roberts and Tierney to reach his level.

Not a luxury player either, tracks back, gets tackles in and helps out his full back and midfield, all round great signing.

BR on @Scotty_Sinclair taking the penalty: "We are very lucky. We have really good penalty takers.

BR: "@Scotty_Sinclair hit the penalties we were at @SwansOfficial. He scored and that's all that matters.
