It’s clear, Lenny wants rid or has been told not to play him as we actively try and punt him..

I'm the same and was more * with him last season at this stage probably because he was getting a lot more game time than he is now . I've flipped on him and don't want to be too hasty here unless we got a crazy offer. He can hopefully still give us plenty.

Must be clear to him, he’s had hardly any game time under Lenny... played him in the first few games as caretaker and then he’s hardly featured.

You can hold onto players when they still offer something to the team. It’s not a definitive line.
Even If he’s not first choice he is still experienced & a quality back up. I think we would be stupid to get rid before we find a proven replacement.

How much would it cost to replace what he has & is giving us.

I don’t want to get rid either, but it’s clear where he is in the pecking order at the moment..

Maybe it would better for everyone, including him if he was moved on. Because, no point having such a big earner behind Forrest, Johnston, Morgan, Shved and probably Arzani..

But who has proven they can match his figures, as I said why not wait until that happens.

It’s Celtic, we will punt as he’ll be seen as a luxury..

Huge contributor for the treble treble. First season was probably the best debut season I’ve seen.

However, I think he’s largely ineffective in our new system / style of play hence his limited game time under Lenny

IF we can get 2.5 million for him and WILL bring in another LW then I’d be happy with that outcome.

Overall he’s been a super signing, just feel his time has come to move on.

People on here aren’t talking about getting another winger in. We have enough cover already apparently.
Must just be wanting to bump the bank balance.

Johnston is LW first choice for me but is still young and naturally will have inconsistent spells.
Morgan still has a bit of convincing to do.
Hayes is a worker but doesn’t have the required quality.
Arzani is an unknown quantity and only on a loan deal.

For those reasons, it’s essential that we replace Sinclair if he goes.

Don’t know why anyone in our support would want to top up the bank balance any further, we need to start spending some of it again

Nah, it was transparent we activated the years option with a view to gaining a fee..

Could work put ok if we don’t get an offer, be handy to have around.. but it’s clear he would have played more if he was a big part of Lennys plans.

It was a virtually risk free financial decision to activate the test, anything over £2m, he’ll be punted. Imho.

I think he's off, which is a shame as he's still the winger I'd back the most to get a goal. Johnstone may be more lively but in a cup final there's very few players I'd back over Sinclair to get the winner.

The best solution would be for him & Johnstone to compete over the left wing slot, and to let him go next season after Johnstone has made it his own.

Unless of course we're planning on playing 3 at the back

If he's not starting then best get rid of our reputed highest earner
