We have paid by all accounts £3M up front for Sinclair, with a further £1.5M to be paid in add ons depending on what he does in a Celtic shirt.

What are you on about ffs? 50p up front and you're calling me the clown you dumpling!

There's nothing wrong with saying so far regarding his overall play on the ball I expected more. Nowt wrong with that at all. He's chipped in with some goals but when we really needed him to score, like that chance in the last minutes against HBS to kill the tie stone dead he fluffed his lines, that is why we bought him, to step up and perform at that level and he messed up his big moment for me.

We are still in a good position to go through, but we could have been in a far, far better one had he bagged that chance.

 

Must just be here to wind people up. Getting ridiculous again.

Going by your logic then, Roberts is only worth 5million and not the 11million you quote.
And in that same logic sinclair is only a 3 million player and not a 4.5million player.

Either way, sinclair to you is only 60% the player that Roberts is. So what you flapping on about that you expected him to be better or as good? By your great money logic sinclair is 60% the player of Roberts.

But for me, from the league he's came from and for the way Brendan described him etc. So far I was expecting a lot more from him in regards to his ability with the ball at his feet.

If you think there is anything wrong with saying that then so be it that's up to you. Easily pleased I suppose but I'm still expecting to see more from him.

Deal with hypothetical scenarios all you want kid. We're in a 3 goal lead, and i know who is in the driving seat..

 

Of course I would have and I loved every minute of it.

But with Gordon in goals, Roberts probably not going to start and Erik also probably not going to start with O'Connell at the back again. I still have a nagging doubt that should we concede early this tie isn't over as it could/should have been. All he had to do was square it to Griff and the tie would be over.

I'm still confident we'll make it, but not as confident as I should have been.

As with Sinclair, he's scored 3 goals in 4 games so far, I'd say he's been doing just fine. I would have loved if he made it 6-2, but he didn't, so get over it. 5-2 is a great result to take away and if we can't hold on to that we don't deserve to be in the CL. Move on to the Griffiths thread and * about how Watt is better than him or whatever it is you do on here

 

sinclairs goals will win us more games than roberts going by someone , roberts is a good player and better at going past players but sometimes hangs on to the ball too long , sinclair will have the bigger impact this season than roberts. Sinclairs movement opens up space for other players , if i am honest i think roberts will have to bide his time when he is back from injury as i cant see rodgers dropping forrest on the form he is on.
