    I was disputing this:

His statistics are great, but his end product - his finishing and passing - varies wildly in quality, and that is self-evident.

Quantitative evidence always overarchs anecdotal and subjective evidence.

People seem to think they don’t count anyway, so why does it matter?

Missed a few now. Infact if we get to a penalty shootout we are *.

Keeper can't save one, players can't score one.

Is 5 goals in 3 games not enough end product? Is 19 goals from the wing last year not enough end product? Is consistently being around the top of the assist charts not enough end product?

He can be sloppy and not concentrate. Even his first season he wasn’t the most clinical but end product is what ends up most effecting the outcome of games and he has had that in spades even when he’s been utter *.

We clearly have different definitions of ‘end product’.

I have already said that I have no problem with his number of goals and assists. I think that the quality of his finishing and passing is temperamental at best.

I think your term of end product is what I term as clinical. Like, Gary Hooper for me was more clinical on a Celtic strip than Larsson (in terms of how many shots, to how many goals) * in his Premiership season he was more clinical than Aguero and Suarez, however, nowhere near the end product of any of the players mentioned.

Aye, I think that we have our wires crossed here.

Clinicality(? :giggle1:) might be a better term.
