Should have scored that chance in the first half.

But he was by no means terrible.

I thought he looked quite bright. Apart from Christie, I don't think anyone was really outstanding today.

I feel sincy gets more stick for missing chances than most. At the moment he is part of a midfield that has taken 19 points from 21, won a semi and won in Europe.

Never saw the second half so not sure if he improved. However, based on the first half and his last few games...everyone else is raising their game which is why we've had a good run of late, but Sinclair is being left behind in a sense. He's still his usual frustrating self. Not being as direct as we want and not taking defenders on. And I know it was his header that deflected in.

That chance he missed in the first half sort of sums him up for me. I just never have any confidence in him finishing off those types of chances now. No real conviction.

Whereas in his first season he'd have made it look easy.

He is extremely frustrating at times and granted he’s missing a lot of chances at the moment, but he still has a very positive impact on the team.

When he wasn’t playing at the start of the season, we were extremely static and lacked penetration and movement, which he brings in abundance. His movement is a constant headache for defences and creates spaces which the likes of Tierney and Christie take advantage of.

If he starts taking his chances, he’ll be invaluable. It’s just a confidence thing in my opinion.

I'm not really sure about that mate.

Even in the Invincible season, he missed many sitters and also had games where he offered very little.

His inconsistent finishing is the reason he’s ended up in our league rather than still being an EPL player.

Don't think he will start mate. Can see Eddy left and Griff centre.

Rodgers may even put McGregor out left. Is Rogic going to be injured for it?

I would be very very surprised if that were to happen. We only have 2 strikers and 1 of them isn't match fit. I can't see both being played together, 1 will be kept in reserve as it is too much of a risk with the hectic shedule we have coming up in December.

He’s wasn’t bad, certainly hasn’t been for the past few games. However, Hearts aside he’s not been great either. He’s not standing out at all whereas the rest of his teammates are.

It’s got to the stage now where I just don’t expect him to score unless we get a penalty, his chance today just summed it all up really, looks a guy bereft of confidence.

If it had been Forrest going through on goal like that you’d bet your last pound on him scoring, I remember thinking as Sinclair was running through there was no chance he was scoring.

His first season here he also missed a lot of chances, but then he scored a lot of goals too, some great finishes in amongst them, that looks to be a thing of the past now.

I also really can't see Rodgers experimenting with the whole balance of our team just before two huge matches. I imagine we'll probably see Griffiths at some point (if we are chasing the game, then definitely) and it is good to see him back, because he gives us a different option; but I'd be amazed if Sinclair doesn't start.

Doubtless his form, though better, is still not great and he definitely does miss too many chances (I don't deny it); but he is still a very important player for us. I think he's a bit like Broony used to be in that he does a lot of important stuff that isn't all that obvious.

I wonder if he hasn't had a hand in Forrest's development. The way Forrest senses space and moves and controls the ball into the right space is so much more intelligent these days.

That’s not the full story, if BR wasn’t here I don’t think he would be in the SPFL.
Also there’s inconsistent players in epl

He’d be a decent enough winger for a relegation fighting team tbh

He's definitely running with the ball with more purpose, loved the strength he showed when he shoulders the defender out the way before being hacked to the ground.

It's his finishing that's letting him down looks as if he's trying too hard to be precise, when he's flying it looks much more natural.

He'll need to prove his worth in this busy period and show the consistency needed. If not we may need to strengthen that area. As Morgan and Johnstone aren't quite ready to make a consistent impact and obviously Arzani is out for a year.
