Sadly , Scott seems like a shadow of himself from 2 seasons ago . I for one would love to see him recapture his best form , and tear up the domestic scene once again . When he was on fire , in his first year at Celtic , he was great to watch . Speedy , attack minded , good at linking up play , an eye for goal ( sometimes spectacular ) and likely to spread fear amongst the opposition defence . Please stand up the real Scott Sinclair .

I've probably said this more than once drunk and don't remember, but aside from his form just dipping generally we don't play to his strengths as much anymore, in his first season we set up with Tierney playing much more as a LB, overlapping sometimes but with Sinclair providing most of the attacking width, but since last season Tierney has played higher up and he's providing the width a lot more pushing Sinclair inside.

Going forward if we play like we have most of pre-season with Dembele up top and Eddy on the left/shoulder cutting in, out of the usual attackers behind the striker Sinclair is the one to drop unless there's a massive turnaround from him, his game time could be really limited this season.

Done a lot of good defensive work, more than McGregor and Ntcham put together. Both done fk all offensively or defensively, honestly thought McGregor had went off for Rogic as my stream went down and Ntcham I'm. Positive walked off the park when big Ed got subbed, both went awol.

FOR me Sinclair was better than any other player bar our defence, not saying he was great by any means but more of a slight on the others, but seems his fates already been confirmed by the majority of fans.

I can see him no getting his form back..

A terrific weapon on his day but has lost something in amongst his form. Belief. Heart. Desire..

I dunno exactly what it is but I don't put him in any of our big game lineups as I don't trust him anymore. More importantly...I think Brendan has lost his trust in him as well..

Predictable. Defensively a liability ( aye he occasionally track's back). Goes down/get's brushed off it far too often..

Almost a year he was (rightfully) given to recapture his form. He won't be given another..

Beginning to concern me now I must admit.

Really like him when on form but we haven't seen it for about a year now. He has the attributes just use them!

Completely bereft of confidence. And him and KT aren't linking up as well anymore either.

Frustrating watching last night ,does not like receiving the ball with his back to goal ,seems to have lost his pace , was rapid when he came .

His family life is all starting to come together. Could be starting to overwhelm him a bit. I’d say he’d do his fair bit like getting up in middle of the night etc. May be taking a toll on him. I don’t know because I hate to speculate on players private lives as it is off limits unless they are misbehaving. But I know the Mrs had a really tough pregnancy. I hope it clicks into place because it sounds like he loves life here and is a massive player for us on his day.

One season wonder, he has done it every club he has been at.

I would honestly cut our losses but I really think he is one of Rodgers blue eyed boys.

If we can get back what we paid for then I would be happy with that.

The warning signs have been there for a while, I seem to remember his performance level dip slightly towards the end of his first (but great) season. Funnily enough I thought he started last season reasonably strong, especially in the CL qualifiers and first few group games. His performances deteriorated though and he left a lot to be desired for the majority of the campaign.

With that said who on earth actually thinks its a good idea to sell? He's a very good squad player for us and is still useful - we saw that last week. Do people remember what kind of winger we had at the club before he arrived? The likes of Wakaso, Tonev, Boerrigter, GMS etc.

His confidence looks shot and its a shame because he's excellent on form and a very likeable guy, but the bench is where he should be right now.

We can do better than spend £35k on a squad player, he has this season to probe he still has it tbh though.

I always wonder if his confidence and motivation was completely shattered by Gareth Southgate ruling out an England call

Late September/Early October last year. Kinda coincides with his loss of form

He doesn't look nearly as quick as he was, first season he could destroy a player with pace, without using his skill. Hope he gets his form back and surely Brendans trying to coach him through it

He's just so weak, physically. Gets brushed off the ball far too easily.

    I've embarrassed myself there.
