His first season and a half were amazing and it is what caused the high expectations. To be honest he could retire from football tomorrow and I would say we got our moneys worth from him. He was our highest goal scorer in league and all competitions last season and highest league scorer the year before, hard not to say he has done well. However I do think you can often see what he will do next, and many Scottish teams have prepared for him.

Problem is if he's not on his A game, his B game is quite poor in my opinion. You're right we do expect a lot from him and he's not always going to cut in, beat several players and curl one into the top corner, but I think when he's not at that level, his B game performance needs to be better, smarter.

I agree he has CL performances in him when at his best. Barca at the Nou camp he was one of the few players that looked comfortable and retained his quality. He can certainly still be an asset for us and he seems happy to be here.

Being such a big name we thought the world of him and we got it. Standards weren’t met last season but I think against Rosenberg he showed more than he did 90% of last season.

I know exactly what you mean when you say big name. But if Scott Sinclair is a 'big name' on the normal saying then something is wrong. He done well at Swansea and that's it. Would argue that Edouard is a bigger than name than Sinclair.

Aye you know what I mean though. Big move to City. Most football fans know him even vaguely. Most football fans don’t know Edouard. Doesn’t make one better than the other. I was just referring to when Sinclair joined us. Genuinely think he will get back to that form.

He’ll make a good contribution to our chances on Wednesday, still one of the best players at the club.

Such a pity that he cannot recapture any of the form he showed in his first season, wonderful player when he's full of confidence.

Scared to run at people and left Tierney exposed a lot in the first half.

If we want to do better in Europe he shouldn't be a starter.
