Scott Sinclair!

Anyone who was saying punt him in the summer is * mental. Having a player underperforming who can produce the numbers he has is invaluable, especially with our limited budget. Hopefully he now kicks on and gets near last seasons final tally.

 

Great work to win the first penalty and really should've been awarded a second.

 

He had a good game on Saturday which is a major boost. Nobody can doubt his ability and what he brings when he’s confident. A confident, fit Sinclair is what we could need to help us bag this treble.

 

There will always be speculation around player transfers, it's the nature of the game and happens at every club from top to bottom and especially at a successful club like ourselves. I would be very surprised if clubs weren't taking notice of Tierney, Tom Rog, the Mouss etc.

 

The amount of times he was clearly fouled while in good positions in the second half this weekend and got no calls was un real. There was one incident where he would have been away down the wing but was clearly tugged back so the defender could stay with him then the defender fouled him at least 2 more times in the corner to get the ball off Sinclair and no call.

 

Had a 5 minutes spell second half where he was half lively with a shot and then a maze run about the edge of the box but still for me, doing he bare minimum again..

I feel like a better performance against the worst side in the league Saturday gave us a bit of a false flag..

Played up against a centre back out his comfort zone on the right and can't remember him beating him once and doing anything from that left side. Funnily enough a centre back played right back last time we played this mob and didn't give him a sniff.......he now plays for us..

Should be dropped for the run in. KT back in and have McGregor or Edouard around that left side. I'd even play Forrest left and get Paddy back in on the right..

 

Dunno why he took so many touches with that run 2nd half the shot was on way earlier, would've buried it last season.

 

He hasn’t been direct enough. Far too indecisive and slow at making a decision whether to run at the defence or play a pass.

So frustrating to see when we know how effective he can be.

 

Looks utterly clueless when facing up a man..

He’s playing within himself but he was so nearly a game changer. Through no fault of his own - he wasn’t. He wasn’t the issue today.

 

There was undoubtedly far worse than him out there today..

 

He wasn't anywhere near our worst performer.

 

I used to defend Sinclair but after today I really can't.

Time and time again he has shown that he is living up to his past by being a one season wonder.

If we can get the fee we paid for him in the summer then I would sell him in a heartbeat.

 

He seems to be a one trick pony this season and everybody has sussed him .
Move him on with our thanks over the Summer .

 

He is a shell of the player he was last season. I like the guy but his heart is not in if anymore.

 

Didn't think I'd be saying it after last season but ffs, has he been replaced be a * Double? No bottle no end product, didn't dribble and he's our left winger.
Give young Johnston playing, hope Lewis Morgan is as good as he looks.

 

Been thinking for a while that he has lost interest, just doesn't seem interested even when he gets the ball I struggle to understand why he isn't playing to his advantages. Unfortunately after the season he had last year, I hope he leaves this summer.

Bad season right enough

 

Performances have been nowhere near what they were last season, don’t kid yourself on.

Statistically another good season, however his overall performances, especially since the turn of the year haven’t been good enough.
