Sinclair was known quality so we knew what we were getting. It’s very difficult to spend that little and get a real quality player. Spending it on someone like Ntcham is risky because we didn’t really know as he’s still developing. It was just the perfect storm due to his circumstances for us to get him at that price.

I reckon he will come good again once he gets a run of games, you dont become a bad player overnight.

Well your former employers have no idea and you shouldn’t take that as the norm.

Football is a little different though isn’t it. Sport as a whole. Managers can be sacked once every couple of years, maybe more. Different standards.

But if you were the manager of a company and Sinclair was your best contributor while your company was having one of its most successful spells, the productive thing to do would be to work with him to get him back to his best. Not just kick the man while he’s down.

We knew he had quality but at the time when we got him he couldn't get a game for a championship side so it was also a risk that I can remember a lot of fans giving out about. And ntcham was developing yes but I'm sure Rodgers/the scouts knew what he was about before agreeing apparently 4.5mil... Our usual fee for projects would be 1-2mil. I'm positive that if say we got rid of Sinclair we would get someone good in for the fee. We will have to wait and see but being honest I don't see him being sold in the summer but just my opinion is that if his current form didn't majorly improve from now and then it would be in our best interest to sell to the epl and bring in a replacement

For those who are in love.....
I don't want him to go and hope he get's his form back soon, but.....

He may want to go. He hasn't looked happy at all this season, although that could just purely be down to his lack of confidence..

The 2 linked club's aren't exactly closer to home though if his missus is still in Manchester/Lancashire though..

He was playing in the Premier League before we bought him and he made 27 league appearances.

Just the Hun without any quotes to back the story up. Not even from an “insider”.

Our top scorer and assist making machine even when off form and people are "driving him to the airport" for as little as £5m.

£15m and id still laugh. Hes ours. Hes no going anywhere.

Reeks of "lets unsettle him because he looked dangerous the other game and we cant risk him destroying the mighty sevco" paper ploy.

Said a few weeks back he may look for a way back down south in summer, would prefer him to stay but with all the goals and assists he has nothing less than £10m in todays market!

I want the guy to stay, its clear he has the quality, look at last season, you don't just lose that.

That being said, Im not buying this pish of "how many goals he has scored this season", he hasnt been half the player he was, infact he has been pretty * poor this season.

Hope the big man bounces back.

I thought he was with Aston villa in the championship. Either way I know he was playing muck for villa and most of the fans didn't want him

That’s because Villa were playing muck in the Premier League. He was basically a left wing back because all he was doing was having to defend all the time.

Okay but what I was saying was he was still labelled as a risk by a lot of fans. Not me though I was dying to get him in and glad we did
