I wouldn't write him off completely but he has been playing yet showing little signs of improvement to me. He's a good player, it's strange how some just go off the boil.

To not decide to pick out one of the two players in a much better scoring position in the 88th minute of a match is dreadful. If we were 1 or 2 nil up then sure have a go but it threw away 3 points.

I’ve no doubts in my mind that he was aware Roberts was to the right of him and had he squared it, you’d have fancied Roberts to bury it.

Understand the line of thought regarding Sinclair knowing a goal would help silence a lot of his critics/doubters and would help his confidence but it would have been the same had he broken away and assisted the winning goal. Now we are in a situation where the criticism of him has heightened again. How Rodgers tries to lift his confidence, which is rock-bottom, is the key question.

The line for the Roberts pass wasn’t there. If Sinclair stops to create to line for a pass then Roberts is offside.

Rogic was the option. But Sinclair only had eyes for goal and I don’t blame him for that.

His selfishness probably cost us the three points, in the end,

Regardless of that, I really hope he can find his form and we get back the player of last season.

Looked lively when he came on for a change , so did Roberts.

No just him though, before he came on the game should have been wrapped up. That’s the best he has look for a while so as long as he scores next time I’ll be happy.

Has his Mrs had the baby? I think his drop in form is personal issues, a lot on his mind.

I know my work ethic went out the window when my wee one was born, until i adjusted to it.

    From bbc...
Celtic winger Scott Sinclair is being linked with a summer return to England. The 29-year-old, who has struggled to replicate his impressive form from last season, has been linked with Bournemouth and Brighton (Scottish sun)

I like Sinclair he's been great for us but this season he's been on decline. I think on current form this would be a good move for a decent fee for both parties

our play is too robotic at times this season we need the flair of Sinclair and Roberts who can drop a shoulder and open up the game with goals and assists.

Did his wife have a baby recently? if so that could be a major factor with disrupted sleep patterns etc

No chance, on form he’s one of few Champions League level players. They don’t grow on trees.

When was the last time he was on form? First leg against anderlecht? Sell him for a decent fee now and replace with someone of similar calibre and of a similar fee we paid

He’s no been playing regularly and he’s still out top goal scorer. A wee bit of slack is required.

He is worth more than what we paid for him, a lot more.

He's not being played regularly cause he was playing quite badly. I know the stats but I watch the matches too and he has been gash. So I don't care about the stats. Most goals and assists and couldn't score or assist with his chance at Motherwell. Just using that as an example on how the stats can deceive. I like Sinclair but he's been playing below par for quite a while. If he bounces back to good form then great I will be delighted and it will be good for the team but if not and if he continues this poor form then imo why wouldn't we release him for a decent fee and replace?

Players like that aren't just kicking about for 3.5m though.

Regardless of his current form what he has contributed over the past 18 months or so is incredible.

I'd be surprised if we got a winger who could produce a similar return, for anything like the price we got Sinclair for.
