A lot of the time he is getting the ball with his back to goal ,like wee jamesy ,plus we are holding onto the ball way to long at the back meaning our attacking players are well marked ,he normally has goals in him against them and i would not rule him out .

With our main attacking threats working there way back to fitness and or match sharpness hopefully we will see him back to his best for the run in. I think we will.

He isn’t on form but he hasn’t been getting the usual help either. I’ve noticed a few times he’s cut in side, passed it and made a great run for a 1-2 but he’s not got it back.

It's up to him to find the space in that instance, Forrest is still contributing with goals and assists despite playing against the same stubborn defences.

Also out of the 3 goals he's scored against them, 2 were penalties. I think you've overstated his goal threat, he's missed more than a few absolute sitters against them.

I think it would be mental to play Sincy in his current form, for whatever reason he doesn't seem to be at the races. I'd keep him in reserve and play him once they start to tire. He's at his best when he's got time and space to run at defences.

If we're in a comfortable lead they'll be gambling and leaving space at the back, if the game's still in the balance then hopefully he can atone for his shocker in December and grab us a winner.

AS Brendan Rodgers’ side prepare to travel to Ibrox this Sunday, Celtic fans will be hoping for another memorable afternoon across the city and a continuation of their strong record against Rangers.

One player who has provided Hoops fans with plenty to celebrate in recent Glasgow derbies is Scott Sinclair. Since arriving at Celtic last season, the winger has tormented the Ibrox side with goals and assists, and the 28-year-old is aiming to build on his derby record this weekend.

“My first time at Ibrox was really good,” said Sinclair in an exclusive interview with this week's Celtic View. “I set up Moussa for the first goal and then scored the winner in the second half to secure the three points, so it was a perfect way to close things off ahead of the winter break."

Sinclair also scored the winning goal in the Hogmanay clash back in 2016, and while scoring against Rangers at a packed Celtic Park is an incredible feeling, the player also admitted that hitting the back of the net in opposition territory is an equally enthralling experience.

“You have to be able to thrive in all atmospheres, especially the ones where fans are trying to intimidate you," he said. "That’s the whole point of playing football. You’re not always going to be playing in front of fans who are all behind you.

“It’s such a big game and for players, when we play in these games, we give it our all and enjoy the occasion. The opposition fans are going to give you stick and try and put you off your game, but in these kinds of games I stay focused and go out there and do what I do.

“It’s a different feeling compared to having 60,000 Celtic fans behind you. They give you that lift to keep going and it’s an incredible feeling having that kind of support behind you.

“Obviously when you go away from home to somewhere like Ibrox it’s not like that. You have over 40,000 people against you and it’s one of those things you need to enjoy dealing with. It’s great for players to be involved in those games and come away with the three points.”

Think Edouard will start in place of Sinclair, it's certainly what I would do.

Really don't like slating Sinclair because on technical ability alone he's probably the best player we have and he comes off as a pretty nice guy, but it's not incorrect to say he hasn't hit the heights of last season.

Forrest doesn't have to adjust his game to allow his fb to bomb on which is definitely a factor. The right side is his so he can roam as he sees fit whereas Sinclair is not really going wide as often this year with KT becoming better offensively.

Irrespective of what he's done against them in the past, he shouldn't start the game on Sunday. He's been abysmal recently.

I wouldn't start him but I think Rodgers will, its time for our big players to step up.

I would say it’s the exact opposite way about, last year he was naturally coming inside and supporting Dembele/Griffiths and making runs in beyond the striker. Allowing KT that wing to himself and room to bomb on and link up.

This season Sinclair’s nailed out wide and not making the movement that he did last season and it’s curtailing Tierney’s attacking prowess.

Which is why he set up a lot more goals at this stage last season i think.

Wouldn't have him anywhere near the starting lineup on Sunday. Seems to have forgotten how to trap a ball and whereas he used to be deadly receiving the ball on the left wing he now just seems to freeze. Offers nothing defensively either. It should be Edouard and the Mouss together upfront.

I have a feeling he needs a long rest. Even sinclair isnt used to playing the amount of games we do. Id give him a month on the bench. Then watch him come back on fire.

I actually wondered if his drop in form was maybe due to his missus being back in Coronation street again and them having to live apart. Don't watch it myself but from what i gather the timing would fit.
