    can say lack of confidence or whatever is wrong with his overall game but those 2 misses are just plain * finishing. would back any professional footballer to score both and he didnt even manage one

    We need a left winger. Johnston is a good talent but can’t be expected to seriously challenge for that spot.

    Don’t give a * about what the stats suggest, he has been * pish this season and needs to get the finger out.

    Tbh he cost us the game. If he puts at least one of those sitters away we coast to a comfortable victory.

    I don't understand how he has scored and assisted so much this season. Last year when he got on the ball I pretty much expected him to create a chance, or do something positive. This season I feel like he will constantly lose the ball or play a safe pass backwards.

    Dunno how he missed that in the first half, twice he has missed sitters against those *.

    If he isn't scoring,shouldn't be in the side,he is basically a wide striker,offers nothing else but goals imo

    The best and nearly only 4 chances of the game directly involved him. Once he was off we offered nothing at all.

    I agree. And as frustrated as I was with him today, he does a lot more than just score goals. His movement is very good and his ability to link up and start attacks in the final third is also good.

    He did cost us the game today though.

    He seems to miss the sitters against sevco far too often and he's been pish this season and if there's no improvement in the second half of the season then punt in the summer.

    Hopefully the winter break comes at the right time for him. Doesn’t look confident at all and that has reflected in his form.

    I know he has scored a decent amount of goals but his overall performances this season haven’t been anywhere good enough.

    So often he plays the easy pass rather than taking his man on and when he does take his man on he is losing possession a lot.
    Compare that to last year when he would beat the opposition full back 9 times out of 10.

    * me the guy had an off day, but who didn't today. Sinclair is not playing as bad as people are making out. He's actually got more goals and assists so far this season than he did at the same stage last season.

    Yes he maybe should've scored his chances but if Morales wasn't as * as he is then he'd ha e scored his chances too.

    Like I said in match day thread they had a go and we didn't didn' turn up and it still ended 0-0
