Yeah definitely, at least our fans appreciate him and support him.

 

Just shows what he thinks outside the Epl bubble..

If Sinclair was at City he wouldn't of been saying he was a level below, not publicly anyway but because he's at Celtic he feels he can belittle him and tell him he's no good up there..

 

I don't think Sinclair should get in that squad tbh. I'd have Sterling and Rashford both ahead of him for that wide left role

 

Don't even think many would disagree with that but what's his gain publicly coming out with that and telling the world he doesn't think Sinclair is good enough?

Would he do that to a player plying his trade in the Epl that are genuinely pish? I haven't ever heard anything..

Guy's picking a finished Defoe up top. Jake Livermore at centre mid and a host of other's who aren't worth a rub..

 

Whenever I feel down, I replay his penalty miss at Euro '96.

 

Maybe he doesn't like the way Sinclair takes penalties and wants to coach him on that.

 

Aye I get what you mean, it's probably needless. He could have just said that he won't close the door on anyone or whatever. But I don't think Sinclair will ever get a cap, playing up here or not

 

Especially when Sinclair is now arriving on the biggest stage and had openly talked about his ambition to break in. A national manager should never shut the door on anyone. Just for hypothetical talk....if Sinclair scored a double away or at home against Munich and everyone was raving about him....good ol' man manager Gareth has shunned him..

He was hardly a world beater as well when he was getting capped..

 

Imagine how you'd feel hearing you have no chance of being called up coz your playing in Scotland, Scotty could go out score 40 goals, win us the CL and Southgate would still shun him for Oxlade Chamberlain

That's exactly it. It's not really a question of wether he should or shouldn't be in the squad, it's just really poor to publicly say he's not good enough.

 

Cowards way out ,knows if he fails (which he will) the knives are ready ,so goes with the media's choices rather than fail being bold and doing it his way ,like oor Brendan,
He doesn't listen to the sniping here about the lack of a defender for qualification ,ok we all panicked but it worked out ,you have to do it your way and show strength ,only manager who would have did that for them is rednap .

Not willing to tell him what he needs to do in public, because he no doubt believes that Sinclair needs to move back to the premier league and perform there.
