25 goals last season from left wing forward- opens his account 1st week of the season but needs to work on his finishing? I think he is a brilliant finisher- ok he misses good chances sometimes but the majority of the time he puts them away. He isnt Messi ffs. He doesnt score every chance.

Most prolific winger in the league needs to work on his finishing.

    Logic.

Aye. Gets millions of chances. He's ovb decent at finishing as he has scored a few good goals aswell. But hed scored twice as much if his finishing was better.

Ronaldo would score more if his finishing was better.

Better tell him to work harder.

He is a very good finisher as the stats prove. Only thing he needs to work on is his left foot.

25 goals for a winger last season. I suggest that you write a letter of complaint to Brendan to express that you are deeply appalled :43: * me.

His finishing can be dreadful at times tbf. Was worse nearer the end of last season

How can people have a go at someone for stating the truth? His first time finishing is not up to standard. Rosenborg, Aberdeen, and sevco, are a few examples of him not finishing from 6-8 yards out from a first time shot. @Terry Munro is bang on. It's brilliant that this is my biggest gripe about one of our top scorers last season, but no one can deny that his finishing from a ball that's been whipped in needs improved.

I was thinking at the game his reactions are * pish for a person with his pace and agility. Two sitters in 3 days he couldnt react to and then he scored with quick reactions and I was just laughing at how I know nothing.

I can see the point being made. His finishing can be erratic but I wouldn't say it was 'horrendous' at all. I don't remember him missing too many big chances yesterday.

Some of his finishing is actually brilliant. Put it this way, if he'd have been running through on goal in Norway instead of James Forrest the last 10 minutes would have been far more comfortable for us.

It amazes me that people are even disputing this. It's not slagging his scoring record because, for a winger, it's quite incredible.

However it's blatantly obvious that he misses a lot of absolute sitters.

He is still a winger at the end of the day.

The amount of times he gets into those positions to miss is an attribute on its own:56: Will still comfortably hit 20 goals this season for us and, for a left winger as I say, that is invaluable.

I understand he can frustrate at times but his value to to team is priceless. He does go through spells in games where he's anonymous however at any given moment he can turn it on and create something out of nothing.

I think the reason he's been overall more quiet throughout most games nowadays (compared to when he first arrived) is because teams now know how good he really is and put more emphasis on shutting him out of games, Rosenberg at home was a good example of this.

Gotta be real here, if he didn't have some flaws in his game he wouldn't be playing for us.
