One of the most important players in that win. Take away the cracking defencive shift he put in, we would have been put out. Some folk, infact im not even going to be vague here, wanyama thinks every player is * whos not in a blue jersey.

 

I don't give a flying hoot what folk think of my opinion, I will voice it as that is what the forum is for.

And for me Scott Sinclair is vastly, vastly over rated by our support. I've already said he's a fantastic player to have domestically when he's in top form as he usually roasts all the cloggers the league has to offer.

But there is no doubt in Europe overall I've been disappointed by his performances, he did come into the game more in the last 30 mins last night with some great defensive work but I'm still to be convinced in Europe. Too many poor touches, poor passes and poor decision making from his at that level. Anyway we've got two massive ties coming up and I'm hoping he's ready to show over those two legs why we pay him what we do.

Eff up you fud and don't talk *, embarrassing moment or not I've already proved my Celtic credentials when I posted a lot of my Celtic gear. I have strong opinions on our players that too many folk are scared to voice for the fear of the backlash they get from those who think criticising a Celtic player makes you a sevconian when of course that is not the case.

My memory's not what it once was, someone remind me which one was the original again.

 

His defensive play was outstanding. Tracking back and tackling was superb. His attacking prowess was off but he still popped up and contributed in the play for the goal.

I love him. He's the standard of player we need. They're far and few between though.

 

Missing the usual quality we've come to expect from him, but his workrate was phenomenal and played no small part in us going through. Said it before but we're lucky to have him.

He's had a patchy start to this season but he's a great player for us. Never heard so much pish about him being overrated. It's all about opinions at the end of the day but * me there are some belters on this forum !!!

 

if we didnt have scott sinclair, james forrest doesnt score that goal. the first time in the match someone takes the game by the scruff, sinclair receives the ball centrally and runs towards the rosenborg back line at pace creating a bit of space for forrrest to even have the opportunity to score.

 

I actually think he's overrated by alot of folk, in the sense that I don't agree hes easily our best player. Obviously still think he's a great player for us tho

When it comes down to technical ability, Rogic and Dembele are better players than him.

 

Jozo, Tierney, Dembele and Rogic all above Sinclair for me.

Some folk would maybe argue Armstrong too but I'm not sure on that one.

 

Brilliant work rate shown from him last night. The only thing that I feel he needs to work on is his first time finishing. The amount of times that he's missed a sitter, in quite important games from the ball being whipped in & he has to hit it first time, is quite vast. Ibrox, @ Hampden vs the sheep, and last night were all examples of it. Obviously a good thing to moan about, regarding one of our biggest attacking threats, but add that wee bit of composure to his game and he could've had easy another 7/8 goals last season, at least.
