His final decision making is really poor at times there's no denying that.

Lost count how many times all he has to do is play a simple enough pass through to someone and he messes it up. Did it twice in the opening 5 mins yesterday and also does it fairly regularly as well even domestically.

No one is denying his domestic achievements, it's his European exploits that are under the microscope when we can't afford to pass up chances.

Exactly. He can be world class some games and some he isn't. Hence the reason he is here. I think he is class and has been a great signing. People need to have a reality check.

If he scored or set up a goal literally every time he got the ball we wouldn't have him ffs. He's been great for us and I think we're lucky to have him.

He missed many chances some of them sitters thats why it is so awesome that he can become even better because I know he can work on that, but his strengh was that he did big parts in creating them/making the right movements for them in the first place. But I respect your opinion.

He played 50-odd times last season. The season before he only played 33 times. For the 3 seasons before that, he was only playing 10 or 12 games a season. I think a lot of his slight dip in form is to do with his sharpness having played so many times this season, having only been a bit part player for the last 5 years.

SS: “It’s a massive game. I think all the boys know what’s at stake. We all know we need to go and win the game tomorrow.”

SS: "I can play anywhere across the front three. If the manager wants me to play there (as a striker) I'll play there."

SS: "Obviously @Leighgriff09 is back which is a massive factor for the squad."

SS: "When we step out onto the pitch tomorrow we'll give it a 100%."

SS: "We had a few weeks off in the summer and now everyone is back and ready to go again. All the games coming up are so important.

SS: "We are 0-0 going into the game tomorrow and if we can start off with an early goal it will settle the nerves a little bit."

SCOTT Sinclair says that Celtic’s positive mindset will serve them well in tomorrow night’s crunch UEFA Champions League qualifier away to Rosenborg.

The Hoops were held to a goal-less draw last week in Glasgow by the Norwegian outfit, leaving the third qualifying round tie evenly poised ahead of the return match in the Lerkendal Stadion.

And while the 28-year-old is aware of the significance of the game, he insists the Bhoys aren’t fazed by the challenge as they target the away goal which put them in the driving seat.

“We are a positive group and the only mindset going into the games is positivity, and all we think about is winning game,” he said.

“The situation we are in right now is what we focus on. We can’t look at ifs and buts. We are 0-0 going into the game tomorrow and, while the main priority is to keep a clean sheet, we need to score goals and if we go out there and make sure we get the early goal, then it will settle some nerves.

“For everyone involved in Celtic and all the fans, it’s a massive deal, and all the boys know what is at stake as this sets us up for the start of the season. We are going into the league this week, but we all know we need to go out and win the game tomorrow.”

The Scottish treble-winners had to do without a recognised striker last week in Paradise, with Tom Rogic leading the line in the absence of Moussa Dembele and Leigh Griffiths.

Although Griffiths has recovered from injury and is available for selection, Sinclair will be ready to fill in up front if required.

“Obviously Griff is back which is a massive factor for the squad, but whoever needs to fill in for that position will step up, as they have done. I can play anywhere across the front-three so if the manager wants me to play there, I will play there.”

And the winger reckons Rosenborg will not diverge greatly from the containment strategy they employed in Glasgow, despite having home advantage.

“We knew they were going to come, sit back and try to counter us, and that we would have more possession than what we would expect," he said. "It was just a shame we didn’t get the job done in the first-leg.

“Personally, I think they will start similarly. They will sit in and try and break on the counter-attack. A lot of people think they will come out and play but, personally, I don’t think that will be the case.”

Nowhere near his best tonight, but put a shift in defensively.

    Fantastic defensively, useless going forward.

We need more from him in the next round.

    Pretty much it.

He was excellent defensively and I was delighted to see that from him as I have never really seen him being put in that kind of role.

Looked better as the game opened up. He's the sort of player who needs a bit of space to get in behind with his pace.

He was excellent going back. He struggles a little when a team is playing so deep and we don't have Dembele, Griff or Paddy to take some of the attention off him. Makes some clever runs that go unseen though
