Sinclair's problem is his consistency. He's superb when on his game but, as with a lot of wingers, he can be completely anonymous at times - even domestically against poor opposition. I expect he'll improve this, however.

There's no doubting his form domestically and him handling that environment, he's a terrific player for us at that level when he's in top form.

However, question marks do remain for me on his performances overall in Europe, his end product via assists/goals isn't up to the standard from someone who is by all accounts our highest paid player.

We need a better RW so that:

    1. It gives Sinclair more space to operate
    2. Relieves some of the pressure on all the wide play coming through Sinclair.

What do you expect to do in Europe? Score a hat-trick against Barca

I expect him to have a much bigger impact in games against opposition such as Rosenborg or even HBS last season. He's also far too wasteful with the limited chances we create in Europe, see below what I mean....

0.32. After a terrific through ball from Tam Sinclair has to do much better, if he takes a touch and composes himself he can curve the ball with his stronger foot into the far corner away from the keeper which would have put us 1-0 up just before halftime and changes the whole dynamic of the game. Instead he lashes at it with his weak foot with a horrendous effort.

2.36. Does well to beat his man down the side but you're then looking for the finish that finishes the tie stone dead, instead he misses and we hang on by a thread in the second leg to go through to the CL Groups.

He's too wasteful is my opinion, needs 3-4 chances to score which is fine domestically but in Europe when chances are more limited for the money he's on I'd be expecting better.

Anyway, hopefully he gets his act together against the tougher sides Europe has to offer from next week onwards.

    No these videos again.

I'm sure you could find one where his touch is superb and he scores a beauty but we know why you won't do that.

Good to see you admitted you're not a 12 year old wee boy btw. * pervert. :38:

I'm embarrassed for you that you continually search out video's and time's to make a point on guy's you don't rate..

Petty you never mentioned the part Sinclair made with his run that led to Rogic having basically a tap in for our first goal against Be'er Sheva..

So it was single handedly Sinclair's fault for us losing to BMG and it was his fault we only sneaked through against Hapoel.

    That's mental to suggest that.

You just don't like the guy and are clutching at straws. Pinpointing about 5 seconds of his play over two games.

If I was a sad as you, I could easily pick out some footage of where he was brilliant against Man City.

I'd like to thank wanyama for being a first class clown that never gets it right. Think back to brown is done. Brendan will remove him. Then Griffiths. Every time he chooses the most popular player to put down. He's also always wrong. This gives me complete faith now Sinclair will tear up Europe the rest of the season. Continue his record breaking form, win another player of the year award and still be our best player.

I have faith he will also score a dead ball chip to rub salt in the wounds too.

Sinclair is a top player, just needs to work on his finishing and he could become even a better player for us.

His finishing? With 27 goals in 52 apps, I think his finishing is awrite.

Sinclair could improve his/our game by making smart positional adjustments when going through periods of inactivity. When we aren't finding him in the inside pockets, go hug the byline, run in behind, stretch teams.

Only difference is Ronaldo put that extra chance away the games Sinclair missed. If he hit near every chance he'd have Ronaldos numbers. He's not getting paid 300k a week though so I don't get people's expectations. A winger scoring 27 goals is sensational.
