Am I wrong? Tell me where I am wrong?

You said he got nutmegged in the game and used that as a stick to beat him with for his performance.

But you do realise he got nutmegged off the KING of nutmegs of the football world don't you? Even top World Class players have been nutmegged by him like Pepe, Sergio Ramos and more.

So you don't think you're being harsh in even the slightest by criticising him for that? Deary me. :52:

Jesus Christ mate. What's Watt ever done to convince you he's better than Griffiths? I am pretty sure Griffiths scored more last season than Watt has his whole career. I'd happily put a bet up for charity on who'll do better this year and give Watt a 5 goal start...

Boyata and Ambrose has a bit more of an argument to it, although DB has only had so many games and looked better than EA most games (which is obv why he's been picked before him, when available). I seen you mentioned Hamilton away, saying DB was at fault. He clearly got the ball. Ambrose has cost us millions in Europe with personal mistakes. I like him, he used to be good. I think the Juve game when we rushed him back from the African nations was a turning point. He's no confidence when the pressure is on.

    Deviant..

Personal insults is the first sign of someone who is losing an argument :50:

Oh, this is the Sinclair thread? I think this discussion is somewhat derailing it.

Tony Watt as a player just has so much more to his all round game than Griffiths up front. Many, many more attributes.

I'll take that bet with you and go along with Watt bagging more goals in the league this season than Griffiths with a 5 goal start like you've said. Providing Watt stays fit and plays every game in the league. That's how highly I rate him, he's a wonderful talent.

On your Boyata Hamilton point, this was the goal I was talking about. Start of video.

Oh and btw, calling me deluded in the first place was a personal insult so good to see you're a hypocrite as well. :50:

    :50: I agree.

I think this is the most exciting signing we've made in the last 10 years at least. Can't think of anyone I felt like this. He's genuinely a big name in comparison to what we've bought for ages. Obviously VVD, Wanyama and the likes turned out to be stars but that's not what I mean. Who was our last big (ish) name we bought? VOH/Samaras? I'm sure I may be wrong here. Someone help :icon_mrgreen:

You either bet or not mate (for charity). Griffiths could get injured too, remember. We can base it on league goals though :50:.

Fair enough... Cough on the flat foot there. Still relatively new to our team though tbf.

Remember you said our fans were deluded. I pointed out that was rich coming from you after saying Watt was better than Griffiths ect :50:

He is better though, there is no delusion in saying that.

Better first touch, hold up play, link up play, composure, finisher (Volleys, Chips, 1v1s, taking round keeper etc), strength, pace, passing, skill, timed runs, direct, power, athleticism, control etc.

Ok, what attributes have I listed there which Griffiths has over Watt and where I'm wrong on. And if you say all of them then that's total bollocks.

Just * up eh, what exactly has Watt done in the game apart from that goal and a few decent performances, if it weren't for Griffiths last year we would probably have lost the league, if you cant see the difference then your either dolly or taking the *

What have I just read? Pepe is THE best centre back on the planet. Did people not see him at the Euros? He was absolutely untouchable. He's won the Champions League and European Championships in the same season. He's absolute brilliant. Sometimes Real don't care much about defending so he and Ramos are left often very exposed but for me he's the best centre back on the planet. Maybe Thiago Silva pushes him close but Pepe has the major honours to back it up. Bale, Giroud, Griezmann, Mandzukic, Perisic all very good forwards who didn't get a sniff against Pepe.

I think a lot would argue he is, you don't play that long at the back for Real Madrid if you aren't.
Tony Watt just has so, so much more to his game than Griffiths.

Anyone who has a clue about fitba can see that.
