According to Transfermarkt he's only missed 12 games in his career due to injury. Both hamstring injuries, one in 2013/14 season, the other the season after.

    Crazy if true...

not sure why anyone is excited about this guy. has not achieved anything at any of the clubs he has played at. Cant believe we are wasting £3.5 million on him. BIG MISTAKE

You said this before and made an * of yourself.

Hasn't achieved anything? He was Swansea's best player when Rodgers was the manager, scoring 20 odd goals from the wing in their promotion season, then doing well in the EPL for them the next season. So well in fact that City decided to spend millions on him.

He has plenty of ability and will be a massive improvement on Forrest and GMS out wide.

Let's just wait and see what he does at Celtic. He done really well at Swansea but his career stalled once he went to City, Villa were a sinking ship when he joined them. I believe Rodgers can get the best out of him but like everything, we will have to wait and see.

Chris Sutton said that it's a great signing for us because, like him when he came here after leaving Chelsea, he has a point to prove. I think he'll be the player at our club this season.

I'm just thinking about what system Rodgers will play, is he trying to set our team up for a 4-3-3 like he did at Liverpool? If so, where does that leave Griffiths/Dembele? It's clear he was toying with the idea even before Sinclair was in our team when he put Griffiths out on the right.

He'll achieve a winner's medal this year. Will that change your opinion?

Look at some of the * that has received spl winner's medal's over the last 10 years. Are you saying that he's worse than them? Ffs he's been playing in the epl. I bet over 70% of the players in that league haven't "achieved anything" as you put it.

Great signing for us, shows Rodgers is getting backed finally. Hearing him say the squad will be much stronger by the next European games has me very optimistic about getting more players in as well. Good stuff :50:

Good signing, as Sutton said it's mon esk singing so far, proven ability but hasn't been getting the chance or been off form, coming to celtic to prove he's a player like dembele and I'd hoped Flanagan too but he's now off to Burnley.
Looking forward to some more BR signings.

£3.5m isn't a lot for someone like him.

Pace, goals and creativity. Plus Rodgers knows him inside out.

Think about how much money we have wasted in recent years on guys with a lot less experience before saying stuff like that.

I think he will be a great signing. A front 3 of roberts griffiths and sinclair would demolish most teams in the SPL. Also in a 2 up front an 2 wingers griffiths, dembele, sinclair and roberts sounds amazing.

Scott Sinclair was Aston Villa's joint top goalscorer in all competitions last season with 6 goals in 27 appearances.

All things considered, that's a very respectable record.
