I thought Lassad looked decent, it was a weird move letting him go.

 

Because its the Ingurlandshire market 4-5 million is probably his value, if it was a similar player with similar ability from say Norway/Sweden/Poland etc you could knock 1.5-2 million off, if not more...The market down there is inflated because of Skys money, its bordering on ridiculous..We probably shouldnt be shopping down there and if you are be prepared to be raped price wise..simples really..

 

Lassad and Miku should never be in the same list AS guys like bangura or pukki.

 

I understand your point but its like buying a house. If the asking price is 80 grand most start off with a bid of 70. Then you negotiate until both sides are happy. The market is inflated in England but that doesnt mean you should bend the knee if you think there is some negotiation to be done.

Say we save 500k- then bring in another transfer like Dembele. Would you not think it had bern better to negotiate and not be held to ransom.

Well, I beg to disagree. I thought they were all absolute pish and inspired no excitement, belief or confidence and ultimately were shipped out with absolutely no care by anyone except the most ardent of happy clappers.

 

I thought lassad and Miku looked good players. Just didn't seem to fit in.

 

Same. Miku was great against Barca and I really liked Lassad when he played. Some players just don't fit in for whatever reason.

 

Personally, Pukki was one of my favourite players in his time here for whatever reason. He wasn't *, just wasn't the right player to play here. He was too lightweight his first season and under estimated the SPL, but I think you can also put him in the same category as guys like Miku and Lassad. He's decent attacker on his day but just wasn't right for us.

I agree peoples opinions of Scottish football from outside are the main problems at times because they believe the sky nonsense that we are just a backwater. look at how many times players come here and say I didn't realise m how big it was or how good the standard is

Swear i cant see this happening. The club and the player are * about over this transfer. i would rather have him than not but it all started in June and its nearly august! Celtic better hurry up and tie him down or look to other targets.

Its never been in the players hands. Multiple sources have said he wants to be here. As much as we give Lawwell and the board *, I dont think you can fault them on this. Villa have been far too difficult to deal with. I'm surprised we are still after him at this point, Rodgers must really want this guy.
