I wouldn't be surprised if Brendan fancies putting him up front instead of on the wing, especially in a 3-5-2 where the LW is currently occupied by Tierney. Dembele's and Griffiths places can't both be guaranteed up front every week, they have to be under pressure for their positions and Ciftci behind them isn't enough competition.

I think neither will play in first leg anyway.

So if worst case happens and we lose 1st leg.. then we can use Sinclair at home 2nd leg.

That'll be three Scott's in the same team, we ever had so many players with the same first name at once?

Is it a certainty he's coming now? Not seen anything to suggest so, so far?

Few people on Twitter saying it's a done deal, signing Monday. Nothing in the press that I've seen.

I would agree too. I just hope it doesn't mean Ambrose doesn't get a look in.

It could be the case that as part of bringing sinclair to celtic, Rodgers has promised him the wildcard spot?

Both should've been done before the deadline anyway.

Business has been slow and frustrating, but it seems to be gathering momentum. BR has always said that he wants to add quality.
We have existing players, who still don't know when to release the ball or have the awareness of other players making runs.
The manager has assessed the squad and now knows the areas that need strengthened, as well as the players he needs to move on.........Sinclair will play on the left and be a quality signing........it's building up nicely!.. imo

If we get Sinclair and toure over the line I'm happy anyone else is s good addition but I'm glad he has addressed the defence and one half midfield

Well I hope it does. On a certain level I love the big mad * and we all know that on his day he can be very, very good but I certainly don't trust him for a game of this importance!

    Sorry, I'll rephrase.

I hope Ambrose gets the * out of celtic asap.

    4.5 mill?

Quite steep. Refreshing to see though as we've been known for our stingy-ness in recent year's..

Does seem quite steep but Villa were never going to give him away too cheap, seems they were reluctant to let him go.Convinced BR will get him back to his best though.

    Price about right imo.

If he can replicate the form under Rodgers last time round he is worth more than that.

Man City killed his confidence, Villa was a mess of a club when he went, the boy needs a kick start again and I think we can do that.

Too much. In the English market its peanuts but for us thats a rip off and a waste imo.

I'm not so sure about that tbh. 3 mil + 1.5 mil in add-ons is about what I'd expect, it's not that overpriced
