Want him to go now we need a new era. But he's been a great servant. This will be his last season with us (hopefully).

    The guy's shocking.

Should be stripped of the captaincy and sold (if possible) or told to retire.

It's a sad scenario with broony, he's been a great player for us through the years, he's never been the best of players in terms of natural ability, but he's always worked hard and given his all for us. I so hope he doesn't go out like this :shamrock:

Would be a good way to treat a player that has served the club for 10 years, and pretty well at that.

Dev was right the other day when he said our fans are knobs when it comes to Brown.

Served the club pretty well? What, being our highest paid player (Extremely undeservedly) over the last 9 years since he's been here? What a servant, he would fail miserably down in England and wouldn't look out of place at Dunfermline, wake up to how awful he is and always has been.

He's always been a quite simply woeful footballer who had great energy and a good engine. But his footballing ability is laughably bad for the level he is at, when Sevco fans want this guy to stay in our team and want him to get a 10 year contract you know the gig is up. Let's just hope Brendan is brave and drops him sooner rather than later or he will be a massive liability in the next tie.

Always been an awful FOOTBALLER, his technique and passing has always been dreadful. His biggest attributes were his energy, engine and tenacity nipping at the heals of every player he came up against and putting them off their game. But with the ball at his feet, passing, control, technique, skill, creativeness, shooting he is laughably bad for sure and as I said would not look out of place at Dunfermline.

Apologies mate. I didn't realise I was supposed to base my opinions on Scott Brown on what Rangers fans say.

Let's hope that Brendan knows enough about football to know that Brown is one of our most important players and a good captain, like Strachan, Lennon and Deila did.

If you think that Brown has always been a woeful footballer then you simply don't understand football.

Must disagree on him ALWAYS been a poor footballer. The guy was absolutely dynamite as an attacking midfielder for Hibs. I get what Strachan done with him but I would have used him as the marauding midfielder he was at Hibs for a season or two before dropping him back into the disciplined role.

I'd still find a place for him in the team, as said if we can get a quality midfielder I genuinely believe he can play right back, and play it well.

Although I do understand the gripe regarding wages, £33k a week after bonuses could be spent better elsewhere

Sure it was a bad tackle on him, the guy tried to shake his hand and he refused.

He can't pass the ball to a teammate successfully or accurately enough, it's either sideways or backwards and anything else is a gift to the opposition.

That's a constant liability to the team as it then puts the team on the back foot where we can be countered (Especially against better opposition in Europe), he did it and it caused the first goal we lost against Malmo at home last season. Even when he successfully passes to a teammate it's either a hospital pass too light or too hard and often behind our player or too far ahead of them making them having to come back to collect it therefore stifling and stagnating our attacks or not being able to reach it ahead of them.

It's not just his passing though, a lot of his tackles are mistimed giving away dangerous free kicks. When you add all this to his shocking lack of first touch, control, decision making, shooting, creativity then I just don't see how he can be so highly rated.

How can someone spend every week with a football at their feet and still be such a terrible passer of the ball at the level he is playing at? It defies logic, added to this he is our highest paid player and it is an absolute mind boggler.

Take this video from todays training at 1.49 of the video, all he has to do here is make a simple 5 yard pass to Scott Allan and guess what? He misplaces it again. Right in front of Brendans nose, if Brendan really knows his football, then Brown will be dropped asap to stop any more destruction in that midfield.

Haha that's howling. Makes it look worse and so much more obvious when you can only watch his horrible passes

And he's our highest paid player and has been the last 9 years. Sickening, most fans out the stands would give you better passing ability.
