Thought he was decent considering he's just returning. Not much of a Broony fan tbh but he was decent today. Passing leaves a lot to be desired at times though.

Butch does your hatred for Scott Brown get in the way of your day to day life ? I am not Browns biggest fan but the sheer extent of your hatred is funny. :56:

600 k saved we know a bargain when we see one eh,:smiley-laughing002: count out 25k a week for 4 years then on top of that win bonuses, getting nearer 10 million. for a cripple. had ledlay for a lot less money wise and a shorter time, but have had a bigger reward from him:celt_2::celt_2::celt_2:

If we're going to play a 4-man midfield with Wanyama in the centre, we need a proper football player beside him, i.e. not Brown.

Broon and Wanyama as our only two central midfielders leaves us woefully lacking in creativity - as was all too obvious today...

Definitely one of our better players today. That bit of skill out on the right where he jinked past a couple of players and did that Cruyff turn before being hacked down was sublime.

Seriously? Is this actually real? How many games in a row has Brown played without getting injured. The guy has got to be the most injury prone player we have ever had, yet people seem to just sweep it under the carpet.

Yeah is real, here lenny full interview piece on skysport

Celtic boss Neil Lennon has threatened to drop his players for their Champions League opener against Benfica in midfweek after their 2-1 defeat by St Johnstone at McDiarmid Park.

Kris Commons fired Celtic into the lead in the third minute and it looked like it would be a comfortable win over the struggling Perth club.

However, Gregory Tade levelled in the 18th minute before Rowan Vine's first goal for the Saints with 10 minutes to go gave the home side their first SPL win of the season.

A]n angry Lennon, who revealed skipper Scott Brown will need to be assessed after picking up a hamstring problem[/COLOR], said: "There was a softness that I haven't seen and subconsciously it was with Wednesday night in mind.

"A lot of them had half an eye on Wednesday night and it is making me re-think my team in terms of their attitude.

"If they are being complacent or cruising through games they won't play, that's not what they are paid for. That performance was unacceptable.

"I am very disappointed. It was a poor performance from us. After getting off to a good start we let the game drift away from us.

"It was a needless performance, it was unacceptable. We could have been beaten by anybody today.

"We had so many stray passes, we played like strangers at times.

"We conceded no goals in three of the four Champions League qualifiers and we have conceded seven in five league games so there is definitely a mindset there that we need to change very quickly.

"They have a lot of good publicity but the game can bite you very quickly and it has bit them today and I hope they have been brought back down to earth with a crunch."

I didn't doubt you mate, I just find it crazy how easily and frequently he is injured.

Good engine, gives 100% but has no positonal sense and his passing & control is shocking hasn't developed at all since he's been here and is constantly injured.
