Honestly hope he will be the guy to spot those killer passes, feeling a bit more confident after reading some of the comments about him.

I'll be the first to put my hands up and say I was never shouting for us to sign him. Over the past couple weeks though I've came round to the idea. It's a win-win for us really.

Much like the GMS and Ciftci deals I can understand why we have done it. I wasn't too fussed about signing them either.

He could prove alot of people horribly wrong.

If you were just going on position wise, he wasn't a necessity. If we are going on what he brings to the position, I can only see positives. Sometimes our play can be predictable and go side to side, he genuinely offers defence splitters with great awareness. Has a burst of speed to get by one or two to free up space as well..

If his attitude is as good as his first words, and his keeness(is that right?) to learn is the same, we've won a watch that'll fit right in..

Was interesting to hear him say he knows alot of the squad well already..

After following this for a couple of days, i've been out all day.... It felt like a sense of achievement when i heard we signed him :56:

I thought we didnt need him..

but the more I think about it, the more great young players we can sign, the better!... whether we need them or not, it strengthens our squad!

let's hope he can give Armstrong, johansen, commons etc a run for their money.... the more competition the better!

    Welcome to Celtic Scott!

People asking where this guy will slot in I honestly think it will be one of the wider roles in the 3 behind the striker. His dilivery from wide areas from what I've seen of him is top notch. Plus with the way we set out there is alot of rotation in the front 3 so he will end up playing threw the centre threw out games even if playing wider.

Putting aside the fact we have gotten one over the manky mob, I think this is a great piece of business from Celtic. 300k plus mcgeough is a snip and although he won't go straight into the first team he does give us an added creative option particularly when it comes to playing a killer pass. Work rates and defenceive awareness can be worker on but you can't teach natural vision. Could well prove to be an absolute steel if he proves his potential! Hail hail! :celt_2:
