    Brown Bitton
    Mackay-Steven Johansen Armstrong

    Henderson ........
    ........ Allan ........

    Edit:

I prefer Commons playing centrally. He's a different player to Johansen and Armstrong, so he's a good option to have.

Mulgrew will be playing at the back, where we're short.

    Forrest isn't reliable.

    Boerrigter no longer plays football.

    Stokes looks to be leaving.

    McGregor isn't good enough.

    Rogić isn't good enough.

The only argument against signing Allan is that we maybe have two many players who are suited to playing in that Central attacking role (Johansen, Commons, Armstrong and Allan), although he can play in the bank of two. We probably need one or two more natural wide players.

Hasn't Forrest been fit for basically the entire second half of the season? Think it's possibly been his longest run without being injured.

Think a few people are seriously under playing him because of the league he's playing in, and because like millions of footballers who move country too soon, and don't make it. Doesn't automatically mean they are * and no good enough for us..

Did anyone watch the pair of * he's been assisting all season with Jason * Cummings as top scorer, has anyone watched him and the biggest diddy in Scotland he's been feeding on a plate all year?

Imagine him with what we have around him, he'd take the *..

You can't rely on him for thirty plus games a season. He's managed that once in his Celtic career (Derk Boerrigter's managed it five times). As I said, if he stays fit, great, but I won't be pinning my hopes on him.

He would be pushing Commons and Armstrong straight away . Commons will be an impact sub and saved for Europe imo , while Armstrong needs to work hard to prove he can make it here after a hit and miss first 5 months . Allan could be every bit the player in a Celtic shirt imo .

He could be the long term replacement for Commons. I think he could thrive here.

Very little risk if we do land him.

I'm the same mate, quite excited 'if' we can actually get this done..

Had times where I've thought, is he good enough, is his attitude a problem, fitness etc but I honestly think he'd be bang on and massively improve here..

Small fee, small wage and one of the best re-emerging talents in Scotland with things in his locker that a lot of players just don't have..

    Get it done..

Competition is what we want. We want players looking over their shoulders and playing out of their skin to keep their place. Better Allan than McGregor, Rogić or Boerrigter waiting in the wings.

Exactly, who is to say Johansen won't be sold in a years time and commons won't be surplus by then? Then what? We miss out on another player on our doorstep for peanuts. I hope those years are gone..

And all this he's a massive hun *, couldn't care if he had king billy tattooed on his *, as long as he gives 100% here..

To be fair his technique is better than most midfielders we have. As everbody knows he is a diehard rangers fan so im still taking this with a pinch of salt.

Summary: Allan will not join Celtic. Straight choice between Rangers and Bolton, with player favouring the former.
